I think the biggest lack of story writing is how bad the actual akazaya deaths are most namely Ashura Dojis

Reiju and Judge have their emotion. It was only the 3 brother that lost their emotion. Reiju just hide it out of fear and Judge toxic masculinity prevent him to show it

His sister is an exception here, even when he was having flashbacks only bad memories from his brothers are shown, so the sh*tholes he's referring to here are just his brothers (and his sh*tty father too). Plus Reiju is actually a different case, she was like the blueprint for the actual Germa 66 experiment, the real test subjects were the brothers. She even mentioned herself that unlike her brothers she's actually capable of feeling emotions since her case was different. And what Sanji dislikes here are the cold blooded monsters with icy hearts, aka his emotionless brothers. (tho I'm pretty sure they had their fair share of character redemption when they helped Sanji and the rest of the crew to escape WCI, but they still traumatized young Sanji and he will never forget that.) (Sorry if this was so long, and also I'm in no way trying to start an argument here but just wanted to give my insights)
