I saw it in preview just before it opened. My first Broadway show and I frigging loved it. From beginning to end I smiled all the way through. Sensational in every way.....Gary Beach gave one of the best performances I've ever seen in musical comedy. Sadly our London version didn't live up to that Broadway cast. Will never forgotten our New York visit to the St James theatre.

Subject matter aside its a great song, who would have thought in 2023 we would be supporting Na$is in Ukraine and giving them standing ovations in the Canadian Parliament, everything old is new again, what a remarkable transformation for what was a hated ideology, thanks to Biden and Trudeau it does seem like Springtime for Hitler again, I must admit I didnt see that coming.

To clear up some confusion in the comments, this is the Broadway Cast Recording in 2001 around the time the show opened. This is the actual take used on the album. The movie came out in 2005 and had many but not all of the same cast.
