There have been many functional medicine practitioners from the USA as guests on this show. Here are links to episodes featuring some of them: tonywinyard.com/dr-gil-kajiki/ tonywinyard.com/dr-miles-nichols/ tonywinyard.com/dr-joe-mather/ tonywinyard.com/jonathan-mendoza/

I too have been increasingly suffering with chronic fatigue over the last nearly 4 years following an early double dose of covid, to the point where I took early retirement last year. Repeated visits and tests at my GPs were helpful in ruling out heart disease, but totally unhelpful otherwise, eventually I was diagnosed with a very mild form of asthma! Any mention of chronic fatigue or long covid by me was totally blanked. I only finally started getting support and making sense of what was going on when I found Dr Myhill's w website ànd read her book. She is an absolute hero. What a diamond.

What a great episode Tony and Helena. I'm loving the sound of 360° to Healthspan. I've just finished a superb book, Dopamine Nation by Anna Lembke MD. You may have already read it? If not it's a corker!

Hello Tony. This is a great interveiw. I'm wondering if a mistake has been made with the image that shows when this video is playing, the image shows Dr John F Roberts who just happened to be a Dentist with the same name as Dr John Roberts the Holistic Dentist that is being interviewed. When I type in 'John Roberts - Biological Dentistry' into youtube the thumbnail that comes up is the right Dr John Roberts that is being interviewed, but when this video is being played it shows the image of Dr John F Roberts who I'm thinking is not the Dentist being intervened. I'm possibly wrong on this, if so I'm sorry to waisting your time. I've never met Dr John Roberts.

If you lived closer to me I would be over the moon! My GPs , particularly over the last few years , have proved to me , that they are willing to go with the flow , just to earn money....I have Fibromyalgia and eat fruit and yoghurt, plus sugar free museli, and wholemeal bread and butter, for breakfast . I am flooding my system with sugars and carbos, but I am a vegetarian and have been for 50 years.I don't want to eat fish or meat ...

In other words populations on ketogenic diet should have the least risk of dementia....ever heard or the Tsimane people they have the least incidence of dementia ?? The high-calorie (2,433-2,738 kcal/day) Tsimane diet was characterized by high carbohydrate and protein intake, and low fat intake (64, 21 and 15 percent of the diet, respectively). Is it possible to go into ketosis on a 64% carbohydrates diet????

I'm trying to get to eating meat again for the first time since 1987 when I was 9. I've never been vegan so it is illogical but I'm massively struggling to overcome what feels almost like a phobia as rationally I can understand why my body may well really need it. I've never been militant or judgemental of people eating properly reared animals but for myself I'm surprised how deep the resistance is. I keep listening to the benefits and find the idea of losing sugar and carbs (I've given up sugar before a couple of times) easier than putting meat in my mouth as it's so alien. I don't know if anyone has any tips or advice but I guess I'm going to have to wrestle with it myself.

Love Dr Myhill. I have had sh*t service from doctors over the years with M.E. and Hashi's.😢 Cons 'gaslighting'. 'You're not ill, you're mad.' I now know I have mercury and lead poisoning which I am about to address with a functional doctor and SMART dentist. It's all about the mitos!
