The Monkey statue is Hanuman -a Hindu God in the form of a monkey. However, many other Asian religions use the same figure for worship in several different ways.

Lol I am white and British and this is one of my favourite songs and on the right day it makes me cry. Pleased to see people rediscovering it because it is important even today and I believe there are many good lessons in it even outside of race. I personally resonate with the like 'if you don't say it's wrong then that says it's right'.

These two clowns need to have some respect for the Bishop. Drink your wine, listen to the lyrics and shut the hell up if you don't have any constructive thing to say. You two jabronies.

The fire extinguisher is there because he's spitting fire, and the monkey stature is there because he knew some monkeys would not listen to the meaning of his lyrics.

THIS PERFORMANCE HAS GONE DOWN AS THE GREATEST PERFORMANCE IN GRAMMY HISTORY. It (WASN’T) a comedic performance and I think this guy as a big man showing an historical moment to this young lady should’ve been respectful enough to tell this young woman what the message behind the song was all about… Instead he took the opportunity to take the PISS out of Michael with false claims that he was hurt during a section of the performance when Michael portraying himself like that was all a part of the passion for the performance he wanted us to watch him feel from deep within his soul right down to the core of his spirit and basically adding to all of that this guy just made fun of the tone in his voice a long with a few more disrespectful things like laughing at an extremely minor technical issue with the microphone that wasn’t even Michael’s fault which was childish and unnecessary!!!!…. From his portrayal within the introduction to this performance as he vaguely described what this young woman was about to watch it’s no wonder why she asked him, “Wait… Are you saying that this is a good performance?”….. THERE IS NO WAY ON THIS EARTH THAT THIS PERFORMANCE WAS HUMOROUS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM and both of these people laughing like that at such a (LEGENDARY PERFORMANCE) like the way they were (inspired by the guy himself who was desperately trying to make the young woman see a funny side to this performance which didn’t exist) is the FIRST NEGATIVE REACTION I’ve seen on this performance on the ENTIRE INTERNET. EVEN CRITICS REFRAINED FROM CRITICISING THIS PERFORMANCE. My complaint also includes this guy making fun of the lyrics when Michael states the lines from “Man In The Mirror”, “As I turn up the collar on my favourite winter coat this wind is blowin' my mind… I see the kids in the street with not enough to eat, who am I to be blind pretending not to see their needs?” by cupping both of his hands in order to mock a hungry person receiving food inspired by the lyric Michael was soulfully portraying (WAS AND IS DAMN DISRESPECTFUL TO PEOPLE WHO ARE STARVING AND FORCED TO BE HOMELESS AND ALSO DETRACTS FROM THE MESSAGE MICHAEL WAS PORTRAYING AT THE TIME.) Myself and my immediate family lost our home and became homeless once in our lives after my father took out a bad deal from a Equity Release company several years ago in order to get a mortgage for our only home at the time and after he was killed in hospital despite fighting for our home we eventually lost the house not before being robbed of £30,000 to £40,000 from a housing lawyer who was supposed to be helping us get back our house before we used up ALL of the rest of our life savings after we already paid to bury our dad and after my mum previously paid to bury her partner in a £10,000 burial to fight for our home of forty three years at the time… WE HAD NO FINANCE LEFT AND HAVE TO START LIVING OUR LIVES FINANCIALLY FROM SCRATCH AGAIN. These are multiple experiences we (NEVER) could’ve predicted (EVER) coming to us… Fortunately we didn’t have to live on the street or out of the family car because of our determination (NOT) to experience those things and because of that we lived in various houses and even an apartment with the bare minimum to help us avoid doing so… BUT HERE BY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GO WE…….. I now live apart from my family surviving fifteen to twenty miles from where they are but I as well as them are (STILL) alive on this Earth so are hanging on to our faith that we can start living instead of just existing in our lives in the future…. Homelessness and worrying what you’re going to do for food and drink as well as how you’re going to keep yourself clean and where you’re going to wash your clothes as well as what kind of shelter will you have in order to safely sleep at night away from crooks, rapists, alcoholics and drug addicts as well as how you’re going to be sheltered from the outside elements is something this man and this women may know nothing about in their own personal lives… MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON WAS AN EXTREMELY UNIQUE AND EXCEPTIONAL HUMAN BEING WHO ENTERTAINED US TO THE HIGHST DEGREE FOR OVER FORTY FIVE YEARS FROM BEING A LITTLE CHILD LIVING IN GARY INDIANA WHO ALSO HELPED US TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE’RE DOING TO OUR PERSONAL SELVES, OTHER PEOPLE, THE WAY WE TREAT ANIMALS, OUR DISRESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND HOW WE BASICALLY SHOW NO LOVE FOR THE PLANET WE LIVE ON…. I SUGGEST THIS MIDDLE AGED GROWN MAN AND THIS NAIVE YOUNG WOMAN LISTEN TO MICHAEL JACKSON’S MASTERPIECE CALLED “EARTH SONG” AS WELL AS WATCH THE EMOTIONALLY POWERFUL MUSIC VIDEO TO “EARTH SONG” TO WIPE THE DISRESPECTFUL SMILES OFF BOTH OF THEIR FACES. The guy and young lady shouldn’t waste their time making fun of a (ICONIC PERFORMANCE) and making fun of a (MAJESTICALLY ICONIC MAN) that doesn’t deserve it… Instead they should ask themselves what are they doing to help make this world a better place for us all?…
