Hello sir.... I have psr e 463 key board. But now there are some issue's on that. When I press tempo key, the melody suppressor will be turned on. Even, when i press style variation change button, drum beats will be turned off 😢 What could that be! What should I do it now?

Keyboard repair especially when it comes to repair of digital motherboards is beyond, when you see this fault, this is what you should do. Just get that right. Incomplete booting the same keyboard model can be caused by; Voltage regulator DC-DC converter Memories (ROMs/RAMs) Microcontroller (CPU) Tone generator What you need to know as a technician is how to identify each component, their function and how to test them. Giving you direct solutions to the ones we have done will eventually mislead you

That is the issue technicians have with keyboard repairs. If you carefully watch the introductory aspect of our videos, we do make statements like; "after testing" or list "suspected/related components" which means a particular fault can be caused by so many different components or parts and all will be giving the same symptoms. So, professional technician will need to test the suspected part to know which one is faulty and replace. For examples, if keys are not responding in keyboard, it can be caused by; dust, rubber contacts, key panels and sometimes open circuit from the digital motherboard. If the one I worked on was caused by bad rubber Contact, people that watch the video will believe its only rubber Contact that cause non responding keys in keyboard. If they replace the rubber contacts and the keyboard didn't work still, they will comment that we are lieing/ cajoling/fooling them. @@thoppzy23 I myself are not a professional technician but I love electronics and try to fix everything that come in my hands with an issue, and let me tell you, I fixed a lot of equipment. Of course some are very difficult but I always do a try. I got into your videos looking to fix some Technics digital pianos with no sound. luckily I found a video where somebody with my level of knowledge give a tip of what could be the issue, some that I wasn't able to see on your videos. Those are so vague, you have to show some examples of real troubleshooting. I guess that way, due the willingness of providing some help, will bring more local customers that will trust you. Not always is about money, musical instruments repair is about to keep them working, avoid to send them to the landfill and give the opportunity to somebody to learn to play them. So, today there's no too many people interested on fix things, and you have the chance to help those that can do a try, all around the world.

Audio IC is BA5417 Switching transistor....... B1342 or B1344 or B1568 or B1566 Regulator on the heat sink is 7805

Hi Rajeev from India . I have yamaha psr 1000. Its main mother board X0128 dm seems defective as only back light is on but display not turning on. Earlier after repeated on off power button display got turned on. Also now only backlight is on. The board is showing power 5 v and 3v or so in all capacitors , MOSFET and ICs so board has power everywhere. It seems ICs may be defective. Which one to replace. If you have a few ICs used in this board can you suggest part name and send with price . I am sending you main mother board X0128 DMK inside shots and pics of other boards.
