Ok, I must say that this actually sounds ok, but the piano is way too loud and the key boards covering the horn parts should be much louder !! Don't they do a sound check ??? Marty actually does not look too happy at all !!!

@@joekingsley771 Bruce had back surgery. Has nothing to do with his voice. He still sounds good on the backgrounds but Back on the Road Again has been a tough listen the last couple years.
@joekingsley77111 ай бұрын
@@pjgustavson I totally agree. Bruce still does do OK with the harmony vocals. BOTRA has been so bad lately, where I think they should take it out of their set.

Get the "Everything's Archies" album from 1969. Believe me, you won't regret it. I had it as an 8 year old of 1969 and I still remember the songs.

At 4:31 You see Graham shaking someone's hand as he stops strumming his guitar for a moment. This goes to show how approachable & comfortable they are with their fans yet continuing to perform. Not many singers do this I don't think. Anyway, Russell does likewise as he winks, smiles & also shakes hands. Yes, maybe Russell's register is lower now but he can still sing this song with punch. 46 years as a band & still going strong.

Maybe Russell's voice was far from his voice when he is younger but, his still good at his age

Peter's looks haven't changed all that much and his vocals are still strong-I was 13 years old when this song hit the charts at #4 on the top 100. A year or so later, another Rare Earth song came out that I'd sing repeatedly with exhuberance- I Just Want To Celebrate....don't know why it didn't rank higher than it did. My other 2 favs by this band were Big Brother and Losing You. All of these are must-sing-alongs for me and this one brings back great childhood memories-it helped to set me down the path of exploring adventures of life. Thumbs up.
