it’s 3am and i’m about to go absolutely insane in this comment section i used to watch this all the time in my earlier teens when mcr was my entire universe. im talkin id watch this twice a day every day, full on obsessed. i was never in the greatest place mentally but if i knew at 13 where id be mentally now at 18 i wouldve counted myself so lucky. im in the worst place ive ever been in, a rock bottom i didnt know existed. honestly, i only planned on making it to the end of this week at the very best; already arranged everything, sent my loved ones a note and separated myself. i realized just barely too late that it was in fact my stack of mental health disorders coinciding and plunging me into a crazy episode and riddling me with paranoia and delusions that left me deciding there was no way out. i decided id quickly just go back and run through all my childhood special interests and whatnot, and i finally got round to watching this again after weeks of hyping myself up because i knew it was gonna hit me hard, but holy shit dude. im light headed, ive cried, ive almost thrown up, this video is fully changing my brain chemistry in a way i really wasnt expecting. ive been touched by things, but never like this. this is genuinely leaving me sat here wondering if it might be worth it to push just a little longer. this band has meant the world to me from day 1, but this is an entirely new connection. i truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank mcr so much for being here for me, saving me so many times, and hitting me in such a way. old mcr fans; you guys better never forget this band. thank you for loving them for so long. new mcr fans; don’t let this band go. keep listening to them, stick with them. let them be here for you when you really need it, they will always hold you up when you’re falling. stay alive everyone 🫶 you’re all amazing.
