The Class 805s which the video is about were only ordered in Dec 2019 and entered service this year as stated in the video. The first train in the family of Class 800s entered service in 2017 (this is the Class 800) not the Class 805. They have similarities but also differences in livery and design. The Class 805s (and 807s which aren’t in service yet ) have vastly different interiors than the rest of the family of 800s.

The Class 700 are amazing commuter trains that replaced the Class 319, Class 377/5 and Class 387.

Yes I’m pretty sure Thameslink also had some 377/2 units on loan from southern at the time that’s why the video just said 377s in general.

I lived in Chelmsford for over 30 years and moved away 7 years ago. The jungle where the centre track was is getting bigger, and I am not sure if those flats on the site of the college were there before I left.

No problem the day this short was published is not the correct date of seeing the loco. This is listed in the title of the full video featuring this loco (Trains At : Southampton Central: 19/7/24 : #3 kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJunf6ifbM-qgKs) - The headcode of the service, route and operator are also listed in the video at the time this class 66 features at.

Yeah I think there are the best train in the 800 family in terms of design and comfort. Looking forward to seeing the 807s when they enter service.

The MK4s TfW took them from LNER and they are still in partial LNER Branding. 67008 is still owned by DB Cargo and is a ex EWS one

The other 2 Class 707s should be transferred from South Western Railway to Southeastern once the Class 701 Arterios have entered service.

Yes I think that’s the plan, I heard news that they will be transferred in September. Although if the 701s are more delayed may be later.

It’s sad to see the northern line southbound platform go but they do need to improve the station drastically. In opinion that isn’t the only northern line station that needs a platform extension. Moorgate needs another platform for the northern line, Old Street needs to have a platform extension as well, Clapham North Clapham South and Clapham Common as well need platform extensions. And on top of that another nine needs three extensions. One from Battersea power station to Clapham Junction and beyond. Two from From Mill Hill East probably going to Mill Hill Broadway and even maybe Saint Alban city (nation start a second platform at Mill Hill East station as well and the second track). And the third extension should be from Edgware to Bushey Heath.

I think they should re brand the two branches of the northern line to be 2 separate lines to make it easier for the different routes.
