Hi Just started watching this and I am enjoying < it would be really helpful to understand which elements (that you mentioned in episode 0 ) you are using the most , e.g. are all the encounters generated in Perilous wilds ? Plus where did you get the Paper sheet with the blank Hex map on , that looks really useful for note taking (apologies if I missed that in the videos)

I hate to be that guy... hut I will be 😅 00 0 is 10 not 100. To get a 100 you need to roll 90 0 AKA 90+10 .... obviously it doesn't really matter as long as you are consistent, particularly in solo play, but I find it an interesting common mistake and worth pointing out.

Hey. I do some solo play myself and just finished my first game with savage worlds (weirdly I started shipwrecked to). Always good to see how others play/interprete things and I didn't know about the monster finder so thanks for that 👍🏼
@FlyingSoloRPG8 ай бұрын
great Im glad you could get something out of it! Howd your shipwreck go ?
@TheEchoscapes8 ай бұрын
@FlyingSoloRPG the shipwreck was OK but I pretty soon found myself fighting a dragon 🤣 I knew there was very little chance of winning but my characters code of honour wouldn't let him flee. I got it to 3 wounds and burnt all its bennies but I just couldn't get that last hit before it finished me and my allies off. It was a pretty epic fight with the expected outcome, but the over arching story for the game never got far. So now I'm playing as the priestess that he was trying to get home to.

@veiledspace9 ай бұрын
I didn't know about this game. Very interesting! Reminds me of simpler (and deadlier :D) times playing the Red and the Blue boxes in high school :D One thing, though. My narrativist brain is bugged by the fact that those goblins simply vanished after they ran away. Shouldn't they have come across the orcs while running? Maybe alert them, join them or, who knows, be attacked by them? I know old D&D never really cared much about continuity beyond a dungeon room, but my 40s self feels like this was a missed opportunity :D Anyway, great video! Keep up the good work

Hey, have you dropped “shaken” effect to make it more lethal? I think with Savage World first successful hit gives shaken condition and then next one is wound. So damage with a raise is insta kill. Also Benny can be used to remove shaken condition without a roll. Also there is gang up bonus when going 2 vs 1. So a bit sad that Randal went down 😂 Otherwise I enjoy the content!
@FlyingSoloRPG9 ай бұрын

Looking forward to the next episode. I am not sure if any of the characters have a Dex bonus, I think the Hafling does, so he should get a +1 to AC. Hagred Wakes up in the morning after the cyclops battle to realize the stench is the dead is blowing his way. This is not going to do. He labors with the weight of the brute to drag it off somewhere. Drags the beast till the weight of the manbeast is too much and Hagred slips on the dew covered grass and lands face first on the ground. Thats where his eyes becomes aware of the prints. He jumps up and looks around in a panic to see if the prints are new and someone is watching him. But no one can be seen. He bends back over and studies the prints more, to find they are days old. Quickly Hagred grabs his meager rations of stuff and anxiously follows the prints as best he can. In the grass its hard to keep track but Hagred champions the task. he quickly finds the tracks become clearer as they trail into the mud around the pond. Still Hagred in anxious to find someone who can help him. He is so fixated on the possibility that SPLOOSH! he suddenly sinks up to his knee in muck and guck of a laiden swamp. Splosh! SPlosh! Splosh! Hagred becomes more angry as his boots fill with mire, water, algea and gods know what else. And yet he trudges through the water and slime. Finally he eyes focus on....a mound with a grave marker??? "Throttle!" The man curses lowly to himself. And then someone steps around the tomb marker. Someone or something that seems to be tending to it. Extreme close up of Hagren and he mutters to himself "Where the hell am I???" The figure senses someone about, turns his head, head and smiles wickedly at Hagred. Hagred sees now the figure is an orc, smiles just as wickedly as his hand tightens on the sword grip.
