How did he start on the right note? The instruments before were (trumpets?) from another band welcoming him, right? So they weren't there to give him a cue, right? I didn't hear anything besides that could have given him a cue.

Blue Suede Shoes - Carl Perkins : 🗿👑 Elvis Presley : 🗿 The original, Carl and the cover, Elvis. Both of them are great pioneers of Rock 'n' Roll.

Ive never heard anyone including impersonators start Heartbreak Hotel the way Elvis did it. Unrivaled, unmatched still to this day 68 years on.

I always thought that in terms of actual musical abilities, Eddie Cochran was more talented, along with Buddy Holly. But in terms of pure rock n roll charisma, nobody has ever come close to Elvis.

does anyone know the guitar chords he played here? his hand movement don't match any of the chords i searched on google. plus how come he plays it only every now and then? does this song must be performed with a bass and another guitarist? how can i play solo using his same chords types?

Liked the man better than the performer. Granted he had a good voice, but he came across a little too greasy and slimy for me. The lip-flip was the ultimate in greasiness.
