Two other facts about 6396, is that this was the oldest bus (by age) in the Metrobus fleet to be renumbered with the "6" prefix when Metrobus was brought under Brighton & Hove in 2014. It was also the oldest bus to be painted into the so-called "battleship" livery.

Good Video! I was coming home from London when the Rail Replacements where happening so I had a chance of riding a Stagecoach bus, but knowing my luck I got a coach :|

@TrainBase These Farnborough-Woking rail replacements always seem to be good for buses! There's never a lot of coaches so you must've been out of luck. Woking to Aldershot rail reps are very good too and I'd say they're the best as they are guaranteed to be buses!

I’m going to Aldershot soon, what would you say are some great buses to ride and have some good thrash? I have 18077 & 47032 on my list already as they are both pretty good buses

@@ZackMurray12 I would personally recommend 18077, 18438, 18513, 18522, 19081, 19099, 36025, 36055, 47032 and 47310 as the best buses to ride. The Tridents I listed (18077-19099) are all the best ones we have and are all amazing sounding and thrashy buses. 36025 and 36055 are Enviro200 Darts and are once again very very thrashy. 36025 has coined the name Smokey Joe by us local Aldershot enthusiasts 😆. 47310 is another powerful beastly little bus and 47032 has the most amazing Allison AT545 screaming gearbox!

Hiya, im one of Ellis's alt accounts, tomorrow i will say the same thing on my main but the Purple 17 buses are Enviro400City CBG not regular and the sky blue and yellow buses are enviro400 exhybrids so they are no linget classified as hyrbrids :)

@@George-bh5yt They were converted to full diesel power in 2019 I believe the Enviro400Hs. They are no longer hybrid however I will always classify them as Enviro400H because they are on the E40H chassis and that's how they were new. During the conversions no changes were made to the body or chassis to make it not an E40H, merely just swapping the electric drive train for a ZF Ecomat gearbox 👍
