The stairs going into the water: this is a dry docking area. No one swims here. This is where people tie up their boats to work on the bottoms. When the tide is high, the boat is brought over the boards in the water. Then when the tide goes out, you walk down the stairs and you can work on the bottom of the boat.

Great tour, thanks for posting this. My main impression of the ship is that it lacks "warmth." The lack of carpeting and apparent overuse of simulated stone are probably the main culprits. The exaggerated black & white motif on the floors is puzzling, and I can't remember seeing a similar theme on other cruise ships. Maybe it's common now. Again, thanks for the tour...of a slightly unusual ship.

I very much enjoy your approach - vlogs, reviews of each key feature of cruise and ship, as well as the overall summaries. ❤ Your pace and detail are exactly what I’ve wished for as I dream/plan my first cruise. I feel like I finally have a good idea of what cruising is like and will make good decisions. For example, I wasn’t sure about what it might be like having an inside cabin. One thing that I despised the most was the weird red cloth napkins at Guy's Burger Bar. It felt like wiping my mouth with a car shop rag. Carnival, please get rid of it!

Thank you for the cool video. When I'm in Mazatlan there's a Mexican restaurant called Pancho's. They have great food.. It's right on the beach.. You guys were right next to ponchos where you caught the taxi to go back to the ship.. I've always seen that spiral staircase and didn't know there was a pool below it, so next month I will definitely check that out so thank you.. on January 18th i'm going be on Discovery princess. for 7 Day's

Just got back from our Mexican Riviera cruise on this ship. We also had the sideways interior cabin, and loved it! I was nervous about an inside cabin but I will choose this option again. I found the formal dining room on this ship to be too loud, and did the buffet the rest of the time. Food was okay but not great. The afternoon bread pudding was my go to.

Wow it is so built up we were there back in 2020 and it didn't have that shopping area. I feel so sorry for your feet honey believe me I know how you feel. I had one on the sides of both feet and my flight got canceled so I had to run around Miami airport for 8 hours trying to find a flight. Pain was almost unbearable.

The atrium gives a calm, quiet place to sit next to the Grand Dutch Cafe. It’s understated, but that’s kind of the HA vibe. All the beds have the drawers, on the last day the stewards do put the bedding for the next cruise in there, we’ve always found it’s after we’ve packed, so it works fine!

Yum! I always love how you guys stick with the included food. It really showcasss all you can get!
