Wizard cause Gale's origin + learning spells from scrolls. 3 lvls in Cleric cause Aid has gigantic value for build which relies on a lot of characters. Also Spiritual weapon helped a lot in the early game. 8 lvls in Druid cause they have a unique Dryad summon (I want to experience new things during runs) + fungal zombies and create undead. Good ritual spells. Another reason is that both Clerics and Druids are Wisdom based classes and Wisdom is THE best anti cc defensive stat in the game. So there's an overlap casting stat wise between 2. Besides dumped INT is easily recovered by getting headband of Intelligence. Edit: Long story short is if you dig a bit dipper, then all of that will make sense

Yo thanks. If you're doing your first honour run do it with a 4 man party, don't do it solo. Having 1 character with sustain (like a cleric) will help a lot, cause some bosses will have "oh shit, where's my hp now" type a move. But tbh it's hard to recommend anyone a "party build" or something like that cause people have different styles, skills and knowledge. So pick whatever you like and make it work. The early game is the toughest period so don't get discouraged if you die a couple of times and have to restart before reaching Act 2. Any time you see an opponent (especially if they look like a boss) right click them and examine. Most of the time you'll be able to read through their legendary actions and come up with a plan in advance. Pay attention to consumables (oils, elixirs, arrows etc.) any time you trade with merchants, cause some of them could be a game changer in certain boss fights. Other than that, knowing what kind of items you need might help you a lot. For example, Whispering promise ring (blessing any target you heal) and Hellrider's Gloves (giving a blade ward any target you heal) is a very good item combo for a support cleric. You can get this combo in the early game and it stays very useful even in the late game. But it's up to you if you wanna preplan you routes for items or not. P.S. I tried not to give you very specific answers so that you can still play the game and find solutions for your problems by yourself. I don't like to take fun/agency from players by giving very direct instructions. So good luck!

I think you can still get the ring by talking to Thrumbo at his house and telling him you will take care of Mystic Carrion. You must also had to read a tablet in secret layer revealing that his heart is in a jar in Thrumbo's chest.

So for those of you who don't understand wtf is going on: we loaded the save file right after Myrkul fight, looted everything we could, talked to all npcs and went to the camp to take a long rest. And for some reason we got infinitely stuck in the sleeping position. Meaning we couldn't get up, do anything, interact with anything etc. My character was just lying in bed and that's it. Nothing was working despite us trying many things. So I restarted a game, this overwrote the save file, and we were still stuck. Fun. So in any other situation that would be the end of the playthrough cause it's a hardlocking bug which you can't bypass at all. But luckily prior to that stream I backed up my save file just in case. And as you can imagine that was the right thing to do otherwise I'd have lost 45+ hours of my playthrough. So we started debugging this bs. On top of the hardlock we found out that for some reason Shadowheart (which we slayed in act 1 with Lae'zel and put in a bag for later use) was standing in our camp alive and well. We couldn't talk to her or interact in any way. We think it happened due to some weird quest bug connected to Dame Aylin (hence the shadowheart lines). We were trying different things, but constantly being locked in the infinite sleep bug. So we had to reload my backup save at least 5-6 times, but after 2 hours of debugging we finally found a possible source of that bug - Wyll. Prior to Myrkul fight we brought him to a Mind Flayer colony so that we can get the Infernal Rapier, we killed him, stuffed in a bag and sent to the camp. Apparently this action somehow locked us in the infinite sleep scene. So we reloaded the save 1 more time, resurrected Wyll via Withers and it solved the problem. It was a lot of "fun". Moral of the story: backup your save files in Honour mode from time to time if you don't want to lose all your progress because of a bug you can't even foresee.

You can check my Karlach playthrough on this channel. I cleared all bosses with it kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXiydpZ_eZilqJosi=9Odif_eW8GN1KOcn Just pay attention to the title, cause I died multiple times and had to restart Edit: also I've been using extra restrictions so that the playthrough becomes more difficult. For example I wasn't using any Illithid/Mind Flayer powers on top of other rules. Using tadpoles will make this run 100% easier. So don't feel obligated to follow all the rules of the playthrough

Traders should just put two and two together after a few pickpockets that you being around them = items being lost and are just automatically hostile and wont even want to smooth things over lol.

Please play the scenarios. They all have special new rules and mechanics, the first two came free with the base game so they are a bit shorter and less fleshed out but still great to play. The highlight and my personal favorite is the last autumn which has about the length of the main campaign and tons of new content different from the base game.

I should also add: do not disable the tutorials in the scenarios or you will have a hard time understanding the new mechanics (I have seen other KZbinrs struggle on that)

@@Adrian-yn3lb I'll do at least one more playthrough. Dunno about tutorials tho cause I like learning on my own. Even if that means that there will be mistakes and confusion. For me that's what makes learning fun and it will lead to cool and unexpected situations

@@nazaturvods3776 I think you are misjudging what they do. Tutorials are those little windows that show up in the left upper corner of the screen at the ? Button (as seen in the first playthrough) and tell you how the basic mechanics function.

2:02:09 If you cancel the throwing animation initiated from the panel it wastes action, definitely a bug since it's not the case if you do it from inventory. Those minor issues are nuts
