Most people "hate" this break in the autostrada, but I like it. It's short enough to not be much inconvenience, usually, and breaks up the monotony a bit. Road surface could be better.

Is it a way to Flåm line from Åndalsnes i.e after doing the Rauma line, what's the best route? Does one need to come all the way back to Oslo to do Flåm line or there is some shortcut? Many thanks!
@nielsontheroad29 күн бұрын
If you been by car then there is not really a straightforward route to take. According to Google Maps you follow E6 to Dombås and then take Road 51 down to the E16, which you then take West to Flåm (in total 6 hours). The arguably more scenic variant is the route I more or less took in the other direction: Route 63 down to Riksvei 15, then Riksvei 5. But it will take you longer as there are a few ferries to take.
@FarooqF-g2x29 күн бұрын
@@nielsontheroad Hi thank you very much for this suggestion, but I do not have car so public transport is what I rely on. Is there any bus service otherwise? Apart from Rauma line, is there any other suggestion worth exploring? For Flåm, it seems that the train back from Oslo needs to be taken.
@nielsontheroad29 күн бұрын
@@FarooqF-g2x I'm not too familiar with public transport in Norway, sorry :( You could alternatively try to get to Bergen? I believe the Bergen - Oslo railway line has a branch-off to Flåm.

What is the process for a foreigner to get truck driver job in Europe? For example some from outside Europe,like Africa, Asia and so on. Infact i watch your videos from Qatar and found it amazing. You made me love trucking than before.

Glad you enjoy the videos! To be honest I am not sure as I am not a trucker myself. I do know there is generally a shortage. I guess it involves applying for a working visa, getting your trucking driver's license possibly converted to a European one and perhaps a few language courses?

@nielsontheroadАй бұрын

Great drive! Just for little correction here on your video description, you mean 2 x 1 because: 2 means number of directions and 1 means number of lanes in each direction. Saying 1 x 1 means one direction only and 1 means one lane in one-way only.
@nielsontheroadАй бұрын
I find the 2 x 1 too confusing with the 2 + 1 so I just use 1 x 1 where the x is basically the dividing line 🙂
