As we know, Archbishop Fulton Sheen said the laity would save the Church, and you are a stellar examplar of that. What a wonderful homily/address. You are a master of the written and spoken word; celestial stuff. A friend of mine who has known about the NWO, etc, for years, did not know about you. I informed him. We met up. "Well", I said. His reply, " Unbelievable. Superb".

My goodness. The problem is apostasy at the top of the Church hierarchy, not negativity because there is apostasy at the top of the Church hierarchy. Sticking your head in the sand and taking happy pills is not the answer. If you want a Lord of the Rings analogy, Bergoglio is Saruman, who has betrayed us. War is upon us, whether we would risk it or not, and our leader has become our enemy. And, there are many worm-tongues allied with the Wizard in white, deceiving many, telling us we need not be troubled or worry, and blaming the messengers.

I see what you are saying here but I'm not sure that Dr. Kwasniewski is recommending some form of quietism; certainly, that doesn't seem to be the chosen form of his own public persona. Rather, and even though he doesn't use the word itself, I believe what he recommends is a holy stubbornness, a refusal to give up the faith come Hell or high water, as the saying goes. It's an attitude that saved Catholicism in the Ireland of my ancestors while they were under the hard boot of English heretics, and gained for them a reputation for being pigheaded. More than mulish, though, they were just good Catholics. I think it is their brand of tenaciousness that Dr. Kwasniewski recommends in this essay.

---Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (The feast of faith,1981): “…the so-called ‘Missal of Paul VI’ is nothing other than a renewed form of the same Missal to which Pius X, Urban VIII, Pius V and their predecessors have contributed, right from the Church’s earliest history. It is of the very essence of the Church that she should be aware of her unbroken continuity throughout the history of faith, expressed in an ever-present unity of prayer.” --- Pope Benedict XVI (September 2008) “There is NO OPPOSITION WHATSOEVER between the liturgy renewed by the Second Vatican Council and this liturgy-The Tridentine Mass-- Each day, the Council fathers celebrated Mass according to this old rite and, at the same time, have conceived a natural development for the liturgy in all of this century, since the liturgy is a living reality that develops and that conserves its identity in its development. Therefore, there are certainly distinct accents, but a fundamental identity that EXCLUDES a contradiction, an opposition between the renewed liturgy and the preceding liturgy. I think that there is the possibility of mutual enrichment. It's clear that the renewed liturgy is the ordinary liturgy of our times."

-----Dr. Dietrich Von Hildebrand (The Devastated Vineyard, Roman Catholic Books, rep. 1985 [Chapter VIII] ): “...obviously it would be COMPLETELY WRONG in ANY WAY to question its validity as reproduction of the Sacrifice of Calvary as SADLY some Catholics have done. And it goes without saying that it would also be completely wrong to disobey any of the rulings of the Holy Father regarding the Novus Ordo and the Tridentine liturgy.”

---Catholic Encyclopedia (Nihil Obstat. June 1, 1911. Remy Lafort, S.T.D., Censor. Imprimatur. +John Cardinal Farley, Archbishop of New York): Peter's authority is subordinated to no earthly superior. The sentences which he gives are to be forthwith ratified in heaven. They do not need the antecedent approval of any other tribunal. He is independent of all save the Master who appointed him. The words as to the power of binding and loosing are, therefore, elucidatory of the promise of the keys which immediately precedes. They explain in what sense Peter is governor and head of Christ's kingdom, the Church, by promising him legislative and judicial authority in the fullest sense. In other words, Peter and his successors have power to impose laws both preceptive and prohibitive, power likewise to grant dispensation from these laws, and, when needful, to annul them. It is theirs to judge offences against the laws, to impose and to remit penalties. … He has full authority to interpret, alter, and ABROGATE both his own laws and those established by his predecessors. He has the same PLENITUDE of POWER as they enjoyed, and stands in the same relation to their laws as to those which he himself has decreed”

I hope you have since returned to the Church, in Her dark hours. If not you must recant their heresies, including; 1.) A 'full' revelation of Scripture which had been 'corrupted' over the ages, delivered by the 'spirit' of one of the prophets from the Old Testament to one of their 'popes'. 2.) On the 'Divine' Soul of Mary, and that she is as present in the Eucharist as her Son. Our Lord had His Agony in the Garden, so does His Church, the Bride must resemble the Bridegroom. Pray and keep watch, as our Lord instructed during His own Passion. Do not be found sleeping like His disciples, who were excused for the Satanic miasma that was gripping Jerusalem in that hour of darkness. What excuse have we? Onward, without fear! If God be with us, who is against us?

@@BryanKirch I think that, yes of course, we should search for the True, the Good and the Beautiful. Your motivation is only understandable. We have to always act upon our consciousness, even if an erring consciousness does not make our actions licit. The motivation of an action is only one of three criteria. Please pray for the Church of Rome and the unity of the true Church established by Christ, whatever this Church is and wherever it is seated! We live in a great time of confusion, and maybe even in the time in which we can see the +abomination of desolation, spoken by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place+.

@@BryanKirch Beauty is one of the hallmarks of Truth; however, beauty is not Truth in and of itself, for as the Apostle Paul tells us, Satan can appear even as an angel of light. The reason why we must return to the Traditional Latin Mass, is because it is the Roman Rite. It is apart of that inspired Sacred Tradition, one of the three pillars of the Catholic Church. It is how God wants to be worshipped. Yet how many heresies have plagued the Church in Her history, before the madness following Vatican II? The Protestant Revolution happened when we had the Roman Rite, the Arian Heresy of the fourth century denied the Divinity of Christ, and plagued the Church for around a century. Yet their worship was proper, right and just. These are confusing times indeed; God has given us a gift, in the Palmarian Church's claim on Scripture being corrupted and being given the 'full' revelation and their claim of the presence of Mary in the Eucharist. Mother Mary brings us to her Son, but it is her Son only physically present in the Host. These are dead-giveaways and calls to come back to the fold, please do. The Holy Spirit has never left the Church. this is why our Lord told us the Gates of Hell would not prevail; it is a promise that things are not always going to go easy. That there will indeed be times where it will look like it has! This may be Satan's hour, but we have the victory. Come back to the Church, and pray for Her in Her most desperate hour.

The first half of your lecture is exactly how The Catholic Church catechised me in the 1960's before the reforms of Vatican 2 in the late 1960's. It's as though everything they thought up to and after Vatican 2 was incorrect. How can you change 2,000 years of teaching in one Council. It's impossible, it's immoral and it's cleary an error! Even the Pope opposes the very council he declares is the True Magisterium by restricting The TLM. Neither Vatican 2 nor Pope Paul 6th or any Pope up to Francis said The TLM was abrogated, restricted or banned in writing or in a statement. What a council doesn't change i.e. The TLM and rites attached cannot be changed because the council itself didn't call for it. So Pope Francis is now in fact going against the very council that he proclaims as The Magisterium. Even his predessessors stated publically that no such restrictions were ever called for by the coucil and Pope Paul 6th and that it was never cancelled. This could in fact mean that the Pope himself is in schism against Vatican 2? Bring in the Cannon Lawyers please!

Every reason you propose for the bishops to adhere to the errors of VII is probably correct and no one can be more imperious than the bishops who believe they are princes and who exercise absolute power in their dioceses. However, your reasons do not explain the pope’s destructive actions. His actions emanate from evil. There can be no other explanation of pachama, the Chinese agreement, the appointment of morally compromised men, his love affair with the LBQXYZ agenda, communion for abortion promoters, etc.

You provide a benign intention to this pope’s and Cardinals’ desire to destroy the Church. A list as provided by the signatories of a recent letter accusing the pope of heresy, is evidence of this destructive intent. The most benign reason is the pope wants to implement Liberation Theology which was condemned by the Church decades ago because it is based on Marxism. What the rest of the world does not realize is the isolation of all of Latin America from the rest of the world. Everything important happening outside Latin America was mostly unknown to them because most of the news was transmitted in English which is spoken by no more than 5-8% in Latin America. Only the advent of the internet 25 years ago brought Latin America into full communication with the rest of the world. Only living in these countries can one fully understand the isolation caused by not speaking English.

Dr. K, Is the intention to destroy the Mass of the Ages merely insensitive and unnecessary? Could that intention not be described as being immoral or even illicit knowing as we do the long, fervent history of support and protection the Mass has gained over the centuries from the Magisterium and even Popes like PPV in documents like Quo Primum? I for one will never attend another novus ordo supper as that abomination is an open attack on Catholicism, so if the TLM is violently removed, what options will faithful Catholics have once the Mass of the Ages has been destroyed?

2:10 - Cue Scott Sergeant blowing his conch (Mr. Baxter's humanities class - what can I say?). Kent Stockton's "Poor Ol' Wyoming" is one of my all-time favorite cowboy poems. Ever read/heard it? It's on a CD that we got at Sleeping Bear when we first visited, called "Happy Trails, Folks: The Togwotee Trail Greatest Hits". It's also in a book called _The Campfire Ain't Quite Out,_ which is the only place I've ever seen it in writing (the pages it's on are available to view on Google Books if you want to read it). I distinctly remember when you and your dad went up to fix the wagon - Patty told me all about it, and, I have to admit, I was a little jealous. What year was that again? The 17 distinct horse gaits (slowest to fastest, more or less): back, walk, slow gait, paso fino, jog, running walk, paso corto, foxtrot, trot, pace, lope (the ugliest gait, in my opinion), paso largo, tölt, canter, rack, hand gallop, gallop.

Thank you Dr. Kwasniewsky, I like your topics and your poetic style of speaking. I'm an 83 year old Colorado native, born in Denver but was privileged to spend much of my younger years in the Rockies. I've been living in Colorado Springs since 1975 and miss the days when it was less populated here, and this presentation brought back some wonderful memories of the way things were in former times. And they still are, in most areas of Wyoming. In a way, I have a distant kinship with Wyoming. My mother was a geology major at Wyoming University before she met my father, my stepson lives in Casper, some of my late husband's other relatives lived in Landers, and many years ago, one of his cousins was married to the chief of the Wind River reservation. The wallpapers in my phone and tablet show you assisting Father Terrance Gordon + fully vested, and offering Mass outdoors in what appears to be the Grand Tetons. A boulder was used as an altar, which was properly set up for the Tradional Latin Mass. In my phone he's elevating the Sacred Host, in my tablet he's raising the chalice, you are lifting the back of his chasuble with one hand and ringing a little bell with the other, and in the background of both views are the rugged Wyoming mountains. I have some of your books, read your articles in the Latin Mass magazine, and subscribe to your KZbin channel, and they are helping me in my journey back to the Traditional Latin Mass, which was suddenly taken away from us in 1969. You also give good perspectives on why we souldn't go back to the Novus Ordo if we can possibly avoid it. If you ever decide to give a conference in the Springs, I would enjoy attending it and to meet you in person! God bless.
