That's a great idea, but I don't feel comfortable to take money from people before I have an actual product... On the good side I bought the machinery needed to produce it myself. Now is a matter of finding the time to work on it.

Use nerf darts. Inexpensive, easy to string together and paint!

Another great one, Sheldon! What kind of paper do you recommend for the printouts? Photo paper may be too thick? Thanks!
@SlotCraftMaster7 күн бұрын
I just used common printing paper, not sure about the weight but any printing paper would do. But yes, photo paper may be too thick. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂

If you are tech savvy you could change the format from PDF to PNG and just use the paint program to do the changes you want. If not I plan to make more and even custom made for a small fee though my store. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you like it 👍

I get it, and don't blame you for thinking that but better videos take more time, effort and hardwe that is not cheap. I am trying to find the silver line but if you have any good suggestions I am all ears. Thanks for the feedback mate 👍

@@SlotCraftMaster All good ,..the video was fine the tips were excellent,i guess not being a you tube producer im unaware of the costs,it was the fact that i hadnt seen a promo of that length.No foul intended.

WOW thank you Crafty! Brilliant shout out video, we had tears of laughter rolling down our faces! We had to watch it several times because we were missing Crafty’s lightning fast wit which was running thick and fast. We’re glad that the sticker arrived safely in it’s protective cereal box and that you like it, frankly we got a little worried for a second there as we haven’t peeled one of them yet 🤣😂🤣😂 we feel honoured to be the first sticker for your collection, thanks again for a great video, cheers our mate Crafty. 👀🦊🤪👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻🤘🏻❤️

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. A tribute video was the least thing i could do for your kidnes and support to the channel. I hope you noticed that I used Foxes favourite colour in all the fonts...The cereal box was actually a great idea 👍 Thanks again

You could probably use the saw with a cut off wheel to cut custom pieces of track, sy man, had to lol.
@SlotCraftMaster12 күн бұрын
I might try it next time, cheers
@jackburton706212 күн бұрын
I made one a month ago, luckily i had a miter saw with a metal cut blade and made the cut in one chop, rails and all lol. I need to look into the glue you used, i just hot glued the piss out of it. Try putting some masking tape on the two track surface butting together before gluing, it might help with the clean up. Great video, ill subscribe for more hahaha. 👍
@SlotCraftMaster12 күн бұрын
It's the cheapest black hot glue you can get from Amazon, for whatever reason it's a bit softer and more elastic than the usual clear one making it a better choice in my eyes. By the way, please tell that Jack Burton is your real name, I love the character!

Hilarious! Been there, done that, learned a lot about soldering and better keeping power from sensor cables along the way... But never would have been able to present it this way! I almost wet myself, thanks ;-)

Hack saw might be quicker!
@SlotCraftMaster13 күн бұрын
It would, I also saw people using a jigsaw. There are is more than one way to skin a cat, all with they advantages and disadvantages. For example a hack saw would be faster but you would end up with a rougher cut witch mean more sending. Either way it's all about what works better for you. My videos are more of a suggestion end a presentation of what worked for me. I encourage exploring other ways so let me know how it goes when you try it.

Yeah I've seen that and it's a perfect and permanent solution. But I'm not keen replacing part every time I want to race a car not to mention the extra cost with every car I buy. Hello from a 70 year old kid reliving my childhood :) My first slot car track was a Marx "Indy 500" figure 8 set from Sears. Got it for Christmas...or birthday. 1963-64 I suppose. Details are hazy... Hadn't thought about slot cars for years but love motor sports so.... Picked up a Carrera digital starter set with some gift money and set it up in my office. Having a blast annoying my dog and wife. I don't see myself being able to expand any time soon but for now, I'm having fun. It's on the floor now but I'd like to raise it at least a couple of feet so the afore mentioned critter can't nudge the cars off the track quite so easily. Great channel/content. Thanks. Cheers!

Life makes us loose touch with our inner child. I picked up slotcars again after my doctor suggested to find a hobby due to my deteriorating mental health. I'm no serious slot racer, I enjoy the hobby for what it gives me and not what others think about it. It doesn't meter the size of the track or the fancy cars. It is special exactly because it brings us in touch with the kind we ones were. I'm glad to hear that you are having fun with it. In the end of the day it's all about enjoying the little things in life. Thanks for watching and sharing your story, it's much appreciated 😊
