Unfortunately no. I got a job with a synth manufacturer (intellijel) in the technology dept and signed a no compete clause. So I can't release any synth/audio products while I work there.

It's not really about frequency or richness as much as it is about power. It doesn't really matter what the tone you fire into a speaker is (square, triangle. sine, noise) or it's frequency as long as the output power of your testing device is much lower than your speaker. The speaker itself will only reproduce sound in the frequency range is rated for, in this case you can hear the sound taper off as I reach really high frequencies. On these testers the output power is very low, probably less than a watt so for any type of regular speaker application it doesn't matter. additionally there is a volume level on most testers so you can just start your test with the volume as low as possible then go from there.

yeah, I can relate to that. I hate guys who think they can buy songs like I'm a jukebox, no matter the amount. When customers just tip me though I take that money and always give it to the buss boy.

The Denon sc5000 is no longer available new and when it was it was a lot more than 699. I'm not interested in buying a used player and I don't need any of a traditional media players features. What I do need is exactly what this unit offers. I build midi controllers and IMO this unit is worth it's price in parts and features.
