I kinda liked the tape 2 kinda wanna hear how it would sound on a tape 1.Both reel to reel examples just seems to be adding a lot of hi-end to the original recording. Which would be good for some purposes but IDK about mastering. At least not for me with this kind of music anyway. I kinda like the lack of hi end in beats

maaaaan ! had mine a couple of days. filled it up with a full jazz brush kit and a lite version. check my vids on it man. all pads x 8 chops for velocity articulatiuons. so bought a second one. and i love this thing so much, it might be a third. never gel'd so well with any machine before. WTF. in their pursuit to make the next best machine. this machine achieved what progress could never competently go back to lol. it really has the old school vibe. hard work too. how the hell can i resample them to 22k internally when theres no pads free...Doh. lol homer moment ! gona have to save and reload and save so many times.

I have a question. This thing comes preloaded with all kinds of samples out of the box right? I've heard you need to clear a bank of samples before you can add in your own. Is there a way to get the original samples back after you've deleted them?

I have Koala and I have the SP but I haven’t yet joined the two! Is there a basics tutorial on how to set it up and on how it all works together? I thought the SP was just a usb/pad controller for Koala but this video shows you can run both at the same time?

How do I record ONE instrument to a pad while everything playing in the background?? Right now it cuts everything out when I record to a pad and I can only hear a click. I DON'T want anything else on that one pad I'm recording to.

Can’t go wrong with that combo, you could pre-chop your sample on the s2400 too, pitch it up then record it in with “step sampling” mode so all the chops are on one pad, played then on the p6’s keyboard.

Thanks for this. You can't beat this for 219US. Impossible. The Original 202 wasn't even that cheap almost 30 years ago. I just bought the p-6 last week and have been waiting for a tutorial as high quality as this one. I've just recently gotten back into music production after being away from it for many years and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the p-6 and the lack of good tutorials out there.
