Wow thanks, no matter if you’re 40 or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.

Hi i’m terrified I need one. I’m still bouncing between doctors doctors. I’m scared of the surgery itself!:(

My paperwork states that I can take OTC for any pain 😢. I know what to expect except for pain?? This past summer was literally pure hell with my right eye with it finally, as it was doing better, perforated in October. After it blew a flat as I say, I at least had no more pain. So the thought of this or any excruciating 😖 eye pain / head pain returning is a fear 🤞. I too am having the full thickness PK very soon. Thanks for sharing ❤

I had a partial transplant that didn't work. Now it's the 5th week since I had a full cornea transplant. Vision is still blurry in the eye. Also very light sensitive. I drive only very locally - to the store, etc. Because the left eye is still blurry I haven't driven on the highwa yet and I can't drive at night because of the light sensitivity. I am confident it will return to normal, but it's a slow recovery.

Mine is on June 5th, thanks for the heads up on the pain, my MD had already mentioned Percocet but I didn't think I would need it. How soon after the transplant were you able to drive again?

How are your eyes one year later?
@ldkellandshawАй бұрын
@@LA-oe6tzIt’s been seriously up and down. The most recent is down. I have developed steroid induced glaucoma and it’s damaged my optic nerve - my peripheral vision by my nose in my transplant eye is pretty much gone and will likely never come back. I can see better in the center of the transplant though, so in that respect it was a positive.

I’m about to undergo my fourth full thickness transplant on my left eye, on December 23rd. I’ve had three fails. I’d kill for even a 5% improvement. Wish me luck! 🤞🏼

@@stacia4558 It’s healing well, so far. I can see a bit more light and some movement, which isn’t super useful yet, but it’s more than I’ve had in a long time. I’ll take it! It’s only been a month, so I’m anxious to see if my vision might continue to improve. :)

Hi Britt thanks so much for your video! So kind of you to do this for others. Did you ever get to 20/20 vision without or with glasses/contacts? Is your cornea transplant still doing fine?

Considering surrogacy and I feel the same as you. As a mom you’re not setting up a nursery or picking a name. You’re not preparing for a baby so I’m not as worried about the attachment. I wish other ppl could understand

So glad I came across this 6 year old video! Have my surgery booked for next week but will need to cancel unfortunately as I don’t think I fully understood the recovery. Thought I would be “ok” at my dads funeral two days after my surgery and in all honesty I don’t think I’ll be ok as the eye will need to heal for much longer. Lots of advice I’ve received said it’s a “quick recovery” but I always thought it’d be more hectic :(

Hi, how long should I take off work? I have a desk job that requires me to look at my computer screen during my shift. I work from home so the appearance of it will not be the issue but i'm wondering if the light from screen will make it hurt? Thanks.
