Except, in this special edition ending Wei Ying is wearing the same clothes that he wore when he and Lan Zhan parted. Why would they make him wear the same closes as before their parting if it was meant to be the real ending? Also, Lan Zhan didn't come to find Wei Ying. If you pay attention to where their meeting happened, it's pretty obvious that it was the other way round - Wei Ying came back to Cloud Recesses and to Lan Zhan, he was playing their song on the same mountain near Cloud Recesses where they parted, Lan Zhan heard his flute playing and came to meet him.
