Hi Geo, thanks to this video I bumped into your channel. My dream is to buy a k-van in Japan and tour all of Japan in one year or two. I currently live in Taiwan for 5 years, but I think Japan is the next destination, because I fell in love with roadtrips. I now visit Japan regularly and explore different prefecture(s) every time. I am looking forward to attending the Japan Camper Show 2025 in Chiba. Can I ask if the Balocco is completely your own build, or you bought something premade and made smaller customizations yourself? And second question - have you seen any camper builds with Delica Mini, please?

Hi, thanks for your comment. (Sorry for my late reply.. Your dream sounds very exciting and I hope you can enjoy your trip. I don't know in detail but I think the Japan Camping-car Show 2025 will be held in Makuhari-Messe if it'll be in Chiba. ( I live in Chiba and Makuhari-Messe is about 30 minutes driving from my house.) Regarding your question, Balocco is the car which is the one like semi-ordered (premade one is sold). I think you can google with "Fieldlife Balocco". And I've never heard and seen Delica Mini Camper on internet..

So many upgrade in balocco. AC and TV behind passenger seat is much better. Refrigerator as a good addition. FF heater? But if you cook, where do you store your trash afterward? The space is crowded, so what about clothing and laundry? Is laundromat available everywhere and clean? Because in western countries, laundromat is a problem and not clean, also need to buy card to pay, but you cannot use it in other laundromat. It is troublesome.
@GEOSTATION-Ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Yes, it also has FF heater, so I can stay warm in cold weather. I bought this car about 4 years ago but I've cooked something inside my car maybe less than 10 times. haha Of course I think the space inside is very limited and I feel it is sometimes troublesome. And your information of laundromat is interesting. I think that we can easyly find 1 or 2 clean laundromat(s) near major train stations. They equally have clean washmachines and powerful drymachines, and I think most of laundromat accept cash.

Japan is probably the only sensible nation when it comes to small cars. In the west everything has to be huge. But the Japanese are leading the way in small efficient clever vehicles.
