I saw Unthinkable comment about this, and frankly that man ain't go NO right to tell anyone else their music is bad 💀. But he does make a point, he just incorrectly diagnoses the problem. When you do screamo, or any vocals that are even a little loud, you cause a lot of what's called "room reflections" which is essentially sound bouncing off the hard surface of your walls, and causing natural reverb in your signal. Now by itself, it can actually pretty good, but when you have to compress the vocal to fit it in the mix it brings up those room reflections with it, causing the super washed out sound you're getting here, and it only gets worse the louder you record. Now, the best way to deal with this is by having some kind of acoustic dampening, like a professional studio, but I doubt you have the budget for that, so I'll tell you what I used to do. Get a comforter, like a thick blanket, and literally, drape it over your head when you record, it doesn't get rid of all the room reflections, but it gets rid of most.
