Hey Brother I appreciate all you do man , I had always wanted to learn that one and you taught me that under 10 minutes . A lot of the other guys make thing to damn complicated when it should be easy like the way you teach . Would love to know more about the bands you were in and opened for .

@@alcapon-o3f hey. You don’t know how much I appreciate that!!! I’m trying to teach it less complicated. I’ve watched many of these teachers and some make it sound and look so complicated. Some I can’t understand 😂😂. I think to myself?? How in the crap is a beginner supposed to understand that. So I’m trying to teach on KZbin like I actually have a person in front of me. I mainly played in two bands. We opened up for the Allman Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, grand funk railroad and a few others in Atlanta. I work with a long time friend, we’ve recorded over 100 original songs. I have a Christmas album if interested I can send you the link. All instrumental. I did all the music. Thanks again.

Thanks Mr Jimmy here I am at almost 70 years trying to learn chords with fingers beat up from working in construction,I did start 1963 at 8 years old but never continued.

@@porkfied I’m sure that construction work did a job on your hands .. I actually was a truck driver but a lot of local work. I never made the big time. But got close in the 70s. Opening up for the Allman Brothers and Fleetwood Mac. Just keep trying, it’s still fun to just hold a guitar and hit a few strings and just hear the sound of the guitar. Keep trying to make chords. Or like my dad did. He just liked to play some notes.

Love the sound of the blues. Do you use a stand alone drum machine and run it through your amp? It sounds great!

@@t.mielke4827 I use a Boss drum machine. Pretty old , but gets the job done. I have a tascam 24 track dig. Recording machine. Old to. lol. And a pair of Rokit studio speakers. And a black star amp I run into the Tascam for the electric guitars I use.

Could you please create a tutorial from scratch for people like me-over 40-who have always dreamed of learning guitar but never had the chance because life got in the way? Now that we finally have the time, we may not have the strongest fingers, but we have the determination to move mountains. A beginner-friendly guide for late starters would mean the world to us!

@@jimmykunz1 There are many guitar tutorials out there they are equally good, but I feel most lack clear guidance on how to perfect each step before moving on to the next lesson. They often just say 'play this' or 'play that' without explaining what to achieve with each exercise or when you’re ready to progress. A structured approach with specific milestones would be so helpful for learners like me.

@@clevelandsparrowiii420 hey. Thanks very much. I know a lot disagree with playing it that way. But it works well. Other wise a lot of beginners would be struggling to make that barr chord F. And would not be playing any songs for a while until they got that F Barr chord down good enough to use it Glad it helps.

Great,thanks. i recently got back into the guitar,and bought an old classical from a vintage store. The strings are a bit high,but because of the classical strings i find it plays reasonably well. My brother is slowly following it my footsteps playing guitar. He want to play country music instead of my rock, so he decided to watch this video. Although he been playing for a week, this is the video set him into over-drive; He learned how to play the songs you played here but also Big Iron (my personal favorite song he know how to play) Ton of Johny cash such as I walk the line and hurt. He is now learning how to play Walkin' at midnight by Pasty Cline (my mom's favorite song) Although he don't to share his personal music to people right now, he play in front of me and I find it okay.
