Kody had Meri divorce him, while spiritually married, so there would be no property settlement and she could keep pumping money into his bank accounts. It had nothing to do with ROBYN’S kids. Kody knew he was getting rid of her and planned on it.

I couldn't agree more with the whole Christine and David scenes. I'm over it. I'm super happy for them but we already know they're married, move on TLC. They really did themselves a disservice by airing the wedding before the season. Give me more Paedon, he's hilarious! I love when he's on. I absolutely hate that Mykelti consistently compares her relationship with Tony to Christine and Davids relationship. Christine is a grown as woman when she meets David. It broke my heart with ysabel, Kody is never going to be the dad she wants.

Ysabel really resonated with me. I’m 74 and my father was not only a narcissist, but he was also bipolar. In those days they didn’t have a term for it so we just thought he was a cruel SOB. But even at age 74 I still look at women/girls with so much envy when I see that their father‘s love and adore them. It still hurts and I hope that she finds someone in her lifetime to give her unconditional love and heal that wound. She will never get it from Kody. At least she has a loving mother and now a good stepfather to help guide her through the next 10 years.

I remember episodes in Las Vegas when Meri wanted Sol to spend the night but Robyn wouldn't let him. I also think there was an episodes where Meri wanted Sol to go to Utah to the B&B with her and said no to that. It appears like Robyn didn't trust Meri to be alone with the kids.

Wow! He did an excellent job of breaking down mormonism and discussing how to identify cults. I didn't realize that Kody was a new convert to the AUB and that Jenelle also grew up LDS. That's fascinating.

Ok I think the pearl clutching over David watching the kids is coming from people who maybe aren't a good judge of character. I dont know David, but from the show I got some very good info on his character: raised 8 kids alone, all kids still like & have contact with him, helped neighbors & the handicapped, said in an interview he wasn't dating Kristine for her life now ( the show) because he knew all this would be ending ( & at the time seemed more likely to end very soon) , Isabell comments that his kids seem to have a very engaged relationship with him, Truly, despite the fast moving relationship, admits she likes him ( shes likely around him more then most as she lives with Kristine) , he is focused on Kristines needs. In addition Mykelty & Tony have been around him way more then all the fans. I am sure they are even more aware of his character traits. So yeah...meh. Kody on the other hand is an abusive narcissist. Who, in this episode, flat out says he lies to Meri about what he actually feels & thinks. And Kody claims to have never loved any of them! I mean is he just a great liar? How disgusting. Also I think Isabel fears David replacing Kody , not because David might want that, but because , as she states , he seems more engaged & involved with his own kids. I think she likes David a lot and THAT scares her. I think she knows David is a much better dad & THAT also scares her. Because its a hard thing to realize a parent is not who you thought they were or wanted them to be. And she has already been sent down that road with Kody when he didnt show up to her surgery in any way. In the long run, a great step dad is just going to add more love. A love they ALL deserve .

I felt like Mykelti said that to stir the pot with her dad. You could tell she thought it was funny. I mean, I think there was some inherent truth in what she said, but I think she was trying to exaggerate to get Kody's goat.

My take away on this one is that she skirted the truth with Jen when she described her meetings with Cody and or robin.
