I live in a place that doesn't even know what Nordic walking is. I have no choice but to use books and videos. I'm in the U.S.

Great clip thanks. Not necessary for anyone to criticise Couch to 5k and suggest it will ruin your knees - this is not true at all. People who enjoy running are very careful and avoid injury

pro trick: you can watch movies on flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.

David Buckle yes indeed you can, I taught myself. 😊 I didn’t have a handy instructor in Atlanta, no sense suggesting one should wait when this is an amazing way to add to your fitness!

I plan to do just that. I have a lot of experience in good posture and exercise history. I did attend an introduction session and watched many videos. I realise i will need to practice good technique. i will film my technique so i can keep track of my progress.

Even an old guy (70) like me can teach myself nordic walking within one hour. BTW, I am fit, and have good posture.
