Hi 👋 I did not get a chance to look at into backpacking options or hostels on this visit as we were traveling and sharing costs. However, if you book in advance you can get some great deals…not sure what country you’re traveling from but you can also look into “Black Friday” or Cyber Monday deals. Got some great deals on “Agoda” as well. We ended up at City Lodge Maputo. Hope you have a great time! Have also reached out to the guide we used for our Food Tasting Tour and if she responds, I’ll share her recommendations.

I’ve lived in Cape Town for 6 years. Beautiful city but this video doesn’t do any justice to it all all. Sounds like a commercial video or something. Would be nice if you could actually engage your audience as you visit some sites in Cape Town. Not any different to a music video tbh .

Lol 😂 beautiful yes but it does not need to be expensive. If you book in advance and look at multiple travel sites (compare and avoid peak travel times) you can actually get some really great deals! Where to start depends on what you want to see or do. Capetown is a must for it’s more popular historic sites but other parts of South Africa have other monuments to appreciate like the Cradle of Humankind (Johannesburg), God’s Window (Mpumalanga), Kruger National Park….start with what you want to see/ do the most!

I really don’t understand why when a person doesn’t know something, just say I don’t know 🤷♀️. Because the lady who was giving you some information she really didn’t know what she was talking about. They are two pipeline in Mozambique, One is petroleum pipeline from Beira to Zimbabwe, it’s called CPMZ Pipeline Mocambique. There is a gas pipeline in Mozambique called The Republic of Mozambique Pipeline Investments Company (ROMPCO). It’s a joint venture between the government of South Africa (represented by the South African Gas Development Company (iGas)), the government of Mozambique (represented by Companhia Moçambicana de Gasoduto (CMG)), and Sasol. ROMPCO was formed to transport natural gas from Mozambique’s Pande and Temane gas fields to Mpumalanga (South Africa to markets in both Mozambique and South Africa, for the economic benefit of the region.
