This movie was good definitely underrated with Kurt Russell.And some other A list stars.

It probably hates Windows because he's so bad at his job. If Window's was a more competent radio operator he'd have gotten someone on the line the first day and a rescue team would already be on the way.

I think Palmer-thing tried to frame MacReady, that's why he left Nauls back in to tell everyone, what other reason did he have to let him in out of the cold?

I suppose it thought of Childs as a more capable person than windows and someone the others would listen to if Mcready were to die, take out the strongest first and the rest will fall in place essentially, also putting Mcready's clothes there as well, frame him and make the rest of them mistrust him, pretty smart for something most people would say acted more like a parasitic virus than a thinking, feeling equal or superior to ourselves as humans...

Nauls reveals the secret ending, in this scene. McCready has elaborately hidden HIMSELF AS THE THING. by using the others, to mask his trail. Brilliant.

It's because he had main character potential I still think to this day he was an amazing character despite how little he was to the film. There's just something about him that just reek likeability.

Throughout an endless void, of space and time, The Thing has travelled from each distant star system to the next and it has tolerated many beings, many assholes, while doing so... Except for Windows. It fuckin' hates Windows.
