To smooth out the camera if using the Third Person Camera, under the 'Camera boom' component enable camera rotation lag and set the speed of it to about 10 (in my case 10)

I was wondering if you knew how to use Custom emotes. If I turn on the option for custom emotes I don't see any custom emotes to add. I was wondering if I needed to add an animation made with the FN rig, or is there another requierement for the animation to be used as a custom emote?

I can't seem to get it to at least load the data, even though I have looked through the whole tutorial many times over, and can find no difference whatsoever between what I have and what you do. I have no errors showing up, so I don't even have anything to go off of. EDIT: Just got it to pop into the scene, but every single block is spawning in the same spot, which also just so happens to be the spot the player spawns.

Who would ever use the D key for interactions in a first person game? I'm totally confused by that decision... If you're going for something this simplistic too, you'd be much better off just saving a single image for the background, choosing what font will apply for which notes, and using different UI widgets to make templates that are literally endlessly editable without needing to create an entire new image. 1000 separate images take up a lot of space unnecessarily, so making each card a unique image is not a great design for scalability and moddability. You can then just store multiple different sets of text to call using the variable for note index. These can either be saved in a large text file or in separate note widgets, whatever you really want to do. Calling the text from a C++ file will give you the most efficient method to call text, especially if you have hundreds of notes to call, but either method works. If you're better with visual representation then of course UI Widgets would be the better way to go for most people. Blueprints are actively being called during gameplay though, whereas C++ code is compiled beforehand. So if you have tons of notes, reducing any sort of hiccupping of the engine when someone interacts with a note is preferable. Example, I'm making a game that has 4 different people speaking through notes throughout the game. I only need 4 different background images to indicate who is speaking, and I just call that in a widget while calling the text for each card from a text document on top of the ui.

Objective pulses have been broken for a while now (not showing up in the game). A workaround was to activate it 20 times to jumpstart it but this is a great workaround too.

That's because of Substrate (an experimental feature from UEFN 5.5) that Mixamo brings inside its model materials. I'm looking for how that can be fixed, but no success.

In my case, Vegas 21 (latest version) crashes as soon as I click on render. Magix has never bothered to properly fix Vegas. I tend to use Davinci as it never gives me problems.

Wiring Bind Event to Update Health Value to Set Percent is unnecessary and a potential bug, depending on one's setup. Adding additional logic after it is going to execute even though the event hasn't actually fired. It'll only happen once, since one definitely shouldn't be calling that Bind Event... more than once in the same BP, but even executing it once when that event never even fired could lead to undesirable and unexpected behavior. Never put the logic of the event you want to execute after the Bind node as well, unless you're 100% certain it's what you want.

Hi Thanks for this tutorial. it was very helpfull for my personnal projet...however as soon as you set up a landscape, or something that collides it doesn't work any more... any idea or suggestions ? I'm making my player being teleported inside a barrier with hollowbox setting no landscape it works perfectly and the player will appear inside the barrier... i do the same on an island with landscape...nothing appends...the player stick on spawner device... it turned me crazy... keep sharing your small tips, it's really cool for us who wana learn Best regards ps : with totaly flat landscape it works to (I imagine the pb is if something is on the "teleporting line" from start point to end point ? ps1 : it bugs also without landscape... it seems i had to add at least 50.0 to Z of the DestinationPoint to make it works (no matter if the base device is visible or not)
