Nice set up! We've been using a Central Boiler for 23 years, they are amazing, we just replaced our first boiler this fall

I've heard some people recommend you wear sweats for some infrared saunas/sauna blankets. I hate the feeling of sweaty clothes. I got a steam tent. I don't know if something like this would be any better. I think high humidity is helping me more than just heat. I live in a very dry low humidity area.

What are the microgreens are you growing? And what soil are you using, and if i use cocopith instead of soil then what type nutrient i will add extra for that?
@barefootmicrogreens7 сағат бұрын
We grow about 12 different varieties of microgreens. A microgreen can be any fruit, vegetable, or edible flower, and some herbs. We grow ours in a soil called Sun Grow. We have never had any luck growing in coco core. We really tried to make it work and it just was not for us.

Hugh and Grace is a pyramid scheme that sells scam products. For anyone wondering, the cost of these 4 products totals $180. These products are in extremely tiny bottles so you won’t get very much use out of them before you have to shell out another $180. The company also sells $80 protein powders and $125 bath robes. There are plenty of nontoxic products out there that are 1/5 the price. Buyer beware.

Do you have any issues with black gnats for the micro greens since they grow quicker? If so what do you do to prevent them?

How many different micro greens do you grow and if multiple what would you say are your top 2 for ease and or flavor etc?
@barefootmicrogreensАй бұрын
@johnc5872 I grow about 10-15 different varieties. Top 2 for ease would be microgreens Broccoli and a basic Salad Mix.
@johnc5872Ай бұрын
@barefootmicrogreens Awesome! I love your videos! I ran into one last night and ended up down a rabbithole watching yours lol. I was thinking about a simple mix myself. Radishes, and Broccoli. I never tried Kale but have seen a lot of Microgreens about them.
@barefootmicrogreensАй бұрын
@johnc5872 So glad you are here, and thanks for watching! All of those varieties would be easy to try, and they all taste great! Radish is very easy to grow and has a nice spice to it! Microgreens are just fun to grow and SO INCREDIBLY healthy for you!

@@barefootmicrogreensThis year I grew my first true garden. (All normal sized stuff) lol. Cucumbers, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, CrimsonbTomatoes, Green Beans and Potatoes. So I love gardening and have learned a lot. I wish I had a outdoor place for my starters, I'm tired of these little black flies in Virginia whenever you have plants indoors lol. I'm currently growing Goji Berries but there still super small, I got 3 more years lol.

Interesting what all you do! I suppose it's nice to choose what part--wings, thighs, breast--you want to fix. Rather than just whole birds! It takes a long time! When you chill them for days, is that the same as aging, like beef? It's a good feeling to have your freezer so full of wonderful food!! 💕
@barefootmicrogreensАй бұрын
We have bagged them up so many ways. 1 year we kept them whole and another year we pieced them all out. I like having the variety. It is a lot of extra work but so worth it. I very happy to have chicken in the freezer again! We had been out for a while, and I refuse to purchase it from the store.
@gaylesmith1738Ай бұрын
No audio? Ohhh...there's the music...! I had to wait a few days to watch this!...it's the killing that I don't like. You did a good job filming! My husband used to wring their necks & I believe he skinned them...I didn't do the processing. But, I did learn how to cut up a whole chicken! Maybe I'll be brave one day! 😬 Good video!!💕
@barefootmicrogreensАй бұрын
@gaylesmith1738 I was having issues with the sound after I uploaded it. I deleted and tried again, and still no sound for a minute. I'm not sure what the problem is. Anyway, the processing definitely was a mental shift for me when we first did it.
@gaylesmith1738Ай бұрын
@barefootmicrogreens Yeah, it's a mindset. I would have to just keep the meatbirds at a distance, while layers I could love on!! I know it's expensive to have them processed at a butcher...I'd need help!! 😕 You did good!! As far as the audio, I think you covered it during the rest of the video! 😊 💕
