Thanks, Rob, for posting this. Dave's version of this song has always been our favorite. Our family never cared that much for Rainy Night In Georgia until hearing Dave's version at Bradley's. I hope you and your dad are still doing well.

RIP Jim, and RIP Meat. I'm not sold on Caleb. or the supporting vocalists. This girl is no Karla Devito. And honestly, Caleb isn't even up to Jim Steinman's vocal ability, and he was leagues behind meat. I loved Jim to death, as well as Meat. Jim's Bad for Good record was amazing and I understand why the powers that be gave him the ultimatum of release it or lose it, but in my heart of heart I dreamt of the day Renegade Angel came. I prayed for the day Meatloaf sang those songs. He was an icon, and I am disenchanted with his 'replacement'.

Ellen Foley is the one that sang on the album anyway

I get what you’re saying but I’m grateful someone is trying and carrying on the music. I’m Grateful The Neverland Express is still out there making music. I hope they keep selling tickets and keep touring, because without Meat, this is what we have.

MEATLOAF, God rest his soul, would be proud of Caleb carrying on his legacy. When Bat Out of Hell came out in the 70s when I was maybe 8 or 9, was an incredible record that will never not be listened or referred to. Will be around for over 100 years.

Es hat bereits zu Meat Loafs Lebzeiten Konzerte gegeben, bei denen Caleb den Gesang komplett übernommen hat. Ich freue mich, nächsten Monat in London dabei sein zu können.

Caeleb truly is the MEATLOAF of this millennium. God rest Meatloaf’s soul. Meatloaf’s panache and voice is missed greatly. Caleb and his talent is a nice extension of Meatloaf IMHO!

God Rest Meatloaf’s soul. One of the absolute BEST vocalists of his generation. Now, with that said, Caeleb’s talent is FANTASTIC! Singing Meatloaf is PERFECT for him. He is the MEATLOAF of the millennium which is a great thing!

Nichts für ungut, er hieß Michael, nicht Marvin.
@marvinleeaday15 ай бұрын
Also somit, nochmals " nichts für ungut!" , für mich ist und bleibt er auf ewig: MARVIN LEE ADAY!

@D Banksey 90 min straight, no break. The show in Waukegan, IL started at 7:30PM and at just shy of 8:50PM they were walking back on stage for the encore (can't recall the song, maybe a cover) as we were walking out. Outlined below is the set they played in Waukegan, IL when we saw them a few weeks ago. I'll include times based on the video timestamps on my phone for those songs I happened to capture. ----- SETLIST ----- 1. Intro video showing various clips of Meat Loaf throughout his lifetime. Video timestamp: 7:00PM 2. Life Is a Lemon No video - likely around 7:15PM 3. Bat Out of Hell Video timestamp: 7:22PM 4. You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth Video timestamp: 7:34PM 5. Two Out of Three Ain't Bad No video - likely around 7:42PM 6. Heaven Can Wait - Instrumental tribute to Meat Loaf Video timestamp: 7:50PM 7. It’s All Coming Back To Me Now - Celine Dion cover (ft. Kiley Baxter) Video timestamp: 7:53PM 8. For Crying Out Loud Video timestamp: 8:00PM 9. All Revved Up With No Place to Go Video timestamp: 8:09PM 10. Paradise by the Dashboard Light (contains "bluesy" guitar/piano intro) Video timestamp: 8:13PM 11. I'd Do Anything for Love Video timestamp: 8:26PM 12. Out of the Frying Pan Video timestamp: 8:42PM 13. Encore - don't recall song No video - 8:50PM when I looked at phone walking up aisle to exit theater. Probably way more info than you were seeking, but thought I'd share in case others were interested. Cheers!
