I bet this is what I need to change out on my wife's 2016 Cherokee Limited 2.4L which has about 230k (mostly all highway) miles on it. it vibrates quite a bit at idle either in park or drive while sitting. Kept thinking it might be o2 sensors causing rough idle but this makes more sense as it's not throwing any codes. I saw another short video where someone drilled away some of the battery tray to keep from having to go through taking it all out. Hmm. My daughter also has a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Sport, same color as yours, but has the Pentastar V6 in it. Guess what I was fortunate to get to do to hers back in February? Yep...change out 24 rocker arms, 24 lifters, and the 6 spark plugs as it was knocking like those will do eventually. Was about a 2 day job as I took my time. lol But, saved about $4k over what was quoted locally. She tells me it runs better than ever. It got her through the last 3 years of college at t he U of A (Fayetteville) and now she's in Medical School in Little Rock getting married in December. It's been a good car overall. Meant to ask... My 47kWp off grid solar system powers about 7 tons of 16-33 SEER heat pumps. No power bill for 2.5 years. Loving it. My HVAC career paid for that, so you don’t have to be rich, just sacrifice, debt-free and prioritize. Better than blowing it on an overpriced junk truck.
