she’s my favorite member in the group and i love her natural voice. the time where she did her high note in sheesh and she did that like extra “octave” like you showed at the beginning of this video, it sounded so bad. i really don’t know why a bunch of idols over do it. like how they rap higher than their actual rap bc they want to be “heard” or know they’re not lipsyncing i guess but i hate it. it sounds SO bad. like if im going to a concert i want to hear the song how it was RECORDED bc that’s how i enjoy it, not like screaming it 4 octaves higher and doing it with no class/technique/depth either. i’ve always thought it was so cringey and sounded terrible. thanks for talking about this, but yeah ahyeon really needs to chill, just sing the song, and i hope she NEVER does that scream thing on sheesh again, i can’t believe any human actually thought that sounded good, idk what she was thinking. idols need to stop tweaking the song especially if they have no talent for that. tell your company to lower your back track and just sing the dang song how its supposed to be performed like damn. i’ve noticed a lot of idols doing it especially with rap like jennie, it literally sounds so bad and jennie is also my fave
