I am a new subscriber to your KZbin channel. And I watched your whole video and it was very important for Haybale.

Insuring a Tractor is a scam. You already on the hook to pay the loan if you default, buying insurance is a way to subject you to legalized extortion, all insurance that is "required" is legalized extortion. The only way this stops is stop buying items that require insurance. They pray on the poor and middle class, rich people do not pay insurance, they put money in an acct and make interest for it, as long as they can show theres money in an acct that covers the cost of whats required they dont pay....but YOU do.

Is 819 at 24in on the fork, full extension, full height? If so what’s the comfortable work load? Thanks.
@noltspowerequipment9 күн бұрын
The bale weighed 819 lbs. As you can see on the video, we extended it to put it on the trailer. It lifted it easily.

I have an NS6010 with fully loaded tires and lifting a 2000 pallet lifted my rear wheels off the ground. How much ballast was on the back?
@noltspowerequipment9 күн бұрын
This one actually did not have any ballast on the back. But to be truly safe, we always recommend putting a counter weight on the rear 3 point hitch.

I don't see any brush. You look up the word brush and you will find the word scrub vegetation. Then look up scrub vegetation and you will find what real brush actually is. That ain't brush. In fact, you actually bypassed the real brush and didn't cut it. That rotary cutter/brush hog is completely out of adjustment. How could I tell? The key was you were dragging all kinds of crap in the front corner of the hog but what iced it was at about 12:26 to 40 and beyond watch the brush hog tail wheel. Notice how its wobbly and going all over the place. That's a dead give away that there isn't enough weight on the tail wheel of the brush hog. The upper link is too tight for sure but the brush hog rear height may be out of adjustment too once you get the front up. If you tell me all that is adjusted exactly right and is a characteristic of that brush hog, I wouldn't own it. It absolutely shouldn't do that in a little bit of wet grass but you did the video in the wet to promote the flail mower over the brush hog anyway. Of course it would have been better for the mower if the grass was dryer but it still should not do what it did. I personally do not want the rear of my brush hog to be 4-5 inches higher than the front. That's wrong. You'll get a much better cut down around 2 inches higher. I'm 65 and I've been sitting in front a brush hog and sickle mower since before I could legally drive a car on the highway. Been there done that. I love watching salesmen try to be tricky dicky.

Awesome video with some great shots on the comparison of the two implements. There were many variables as you mentioned out in that field on the performance of both. However, in my opinion height of cut is one variable that was overlooked and not mentioned. Clearly the height of cut on the flail was set much lower to the ground than the rotary cutter.

The advantage of a gear drive Tractor is reliable consistent ground speed. This blends well with application of broadcasting fertilizers, seedling and even herbicides. If A given setting on a pto driven herbicide spray applicator applies X gallons of spray per hour and the crop requirements are Y per linear distance of Z then the ground speed of W must be consistently controlled to deliver the required amount. There's lots of mathematical charts and tables published by the manufacturers of the equipment and also the USDA. Nowadays the GPS and computer controls do all of the work for the Farmer.

Very nice, I just took delivery of a 2022 (still new) CK2610HST, had it in the wood lot today, what a game changer! This is my first tractor--I grew up on a farm using tractors, but all old stuff and nothing with a loader or a backhoe. This is going to make light work and normally heavy tasks!
