Never Lie is the only Freida McFadden book I've given 4 stars (the other 3 were below 4) Red, White, & Royal Blue was OK... Being a bitter, jaded gay, I have a hard time buying into these fairy tale gay relationships 😆 Final Girls is my least favorite Riley Sager book(I've read them all)

Sara was the reason I picked up Powerless... It was the worst book I've ever read... I no longer watch Sara 😒 HaHa... You have said everything I've been screaming for the past year! All the bookish creators just rallied around their fellow BookTok'r turned author to hype this awful, copy & paste book up 😠 Archer's Voice is good, but didn't hit me like everyone else who raves about it 🤷🏻♂ Song of Achilles was also good but it also didn't give me the feels it gave everyone else... I much preferred CIRCE

It's very "low stakes" fantasy... It doesn't have a lot of world building and it's more focused on the Romance, hence ROMANTASY... These tend to be much easier to digest than a TRUE fantasy book.

HaHa... So I just gave Ali Hazelwood a 3rd straight 5 stars(Check & Mate, Bride, & Not In Love).... My first read of hers was The Love Hypothesis which I wasn't a fan(2.0)... So I skipped Love On The Brain & Love Theoretically... but I decided to go back and give them a try... LOTB was awful(1.0) and LT was slightly less awful(2.0)... I feel like her first 3 books all felt the same... She seems to be obsessed with how BIG/TALL her male characters are 🤦🏻♂ Yes, Just For the Summer was a 5 Star read for me too, but Part of Your World is still my favorite of all her books Carrie Soto was an easy 5 stars, but TJR has so many 5 stars from me(Evelyn Hugo, Daisy Jones, Malibu Rising) Hmmm.... I really loved The Unmaking of June Farrow & The Book of Doors.... Also loving The Boys of Tommen series... Bride is up there for me and The Guncle Abroad(I'm a Guncle, so I love this little series)

Well I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Powerless… I’m on the HATE side 😜 The Little Women movie with Emma is FANTASTIC… I bought the book after watching the movie, but have yet to read… I thought Red White & Royal Blue was OK… I’m one of them bitter gays that can’t buy into these fairy tale gay male romances 😂 Haven’t watched the TV show and really no desire to 🤷🏻♂️

I read Book Lovers from Emily Henry and it was a terrible decision, I’m quite puzzled at its popularity. I’ll trust your judgment on this new release from her and stick to my literary fiction! Also I absolutely DESPISED Acotar, I gave up after the second book. It was like *vomit sound* book review for me. I was intensely upset of having read this 😮

You have a lot of great recs that I have enjoyed too! I just started watching Under the Bridge not realizing it was an actual book until I looked up info about the show... It's good... Not sure if I wanna read the book tho 🤷🏻♂ So I went down a SJM rabbit hole to the point I WON'T be reading any of her books... But according to SJM herself, she says to read Assassin's Blade 3rd and then don't forget to tandem read two of the books 🙄 And just go ahead and throw out that Powerless book in your TBR Cart because it's TRASH 👎🏽

I just finished Just For The Summer and LOVED it(5.0)... Abby is my Romance Queen 👑 I've decided to just go ahead and start The Boys of Tommen series... I was going to try and wrap up the last 3 Addicted/Calloway books, but I keep hearing too many GREAT reviews on this series to put it off any longer 🤗 Looking forward to Funny Story, but refuse to buy the hardcover, so waiting for audiobook hold... Annoys me that publishers started putting out Emily Henry's books in hardcover! 🤦🏻♂
