So what would you guys call Rogue Prince Of Persia? It’s an indie dev creating a game being licensed and published by Ubisoft. Kind of like what microsoft did with Ori. So would you still call that indie?

Are these really the best co op options they can offer us? What happened to the franchies we all grew up with? Stop dumping gameplay options for the sake of graphics already. For example, the new trailer they showed just isnt Perfect Dark. Most of us that played Perfect Dark/Goldeneye spent 90% of the time playing exclusively splitscreen local co op multiplayer with friends at sleep overs, or with our gfs/bfs, and at parties and in college dorms Thats the same issue with the new Halos. Most of us grew up playing Halo local split screen multiplayer in dorms or with gfs/bfs and at parties. A Perfect Dark and Halo without local splitscreen multiplayer and bot support just simply isnt those games. No one gives a cr*p if the graphics dont look next gen in splitscreen. F the graphics, give us back the local multiplayer we grew up with MS. While you're at it, give us back split screen multiplayer for the next Forza. Games like local co op multiplayer Burnout Revenge, Virtua Tennis, Mario Kart and Twisted Metal defined many childhoods. Dropping split screen support just as all off us 90s/00 kids now want to share local co op gaming with our kids, grandkids, college friends and families is the dumbest corporate decision possible.

Aaah🤔Meridia…actually existing🙌 Mmm, the good ol’days☺️..yeah😊those were the days😌! Before Meridias super undemocratic betrayal of Super Earth as it decided to turn into the unsuper black🕳️hole with a frickin singularity as a soul🥺. Meridia weren’t democratically managing its resource extraction properly until Super Earth freed it and spread managed democracy plus hobs and gobs of liberty🗽. What a waste of a perfectly good planet that at least could’ve been depleted of everything before into went all singularity like🙂↔️.

Out of 50, played only 6. Nice list. + Gotta say, Papers, Please is so entertaining once you start chasing all the endings and achievements, it has a nice little learning curve that takes some replays. +/- Life is Stranger wasn't really a game for me and I finished it anyways. I don't find these point and click story games very compelling and the story doesn't resonate with me at all +/- I really want to get into Darkest Dungeon again, but the difficulty and tedious learning curve makes me back out atm. + Celeste is amazing, and even though I've been tired of platform games for years now, I found Celeste to be a unique experience. You can really take your time with a lot of levels and it's just a relaxing although challenging game at the same time. - Played Terraria for like 30 minutes without knowing the hell I was doing. Since I played it alone and none of my friends have touched it, I abandoned it. Not really sure what could get me to try it out again. - Subnautica has a lot of grinding features that aren't fun at all to players like me who don't like to take too much time in the water. It's a terrifying game, and I only tried it because it was free on Epic. If you're scared of the unknown in an almost open-world ocean setting where you have to go deeper every time, beware of Subnautica lol

I am so unbelievably happy to see disco elysium not only on this list but so high as well, in my opinion truly the greatest game ever made it really feels like an incredible work of art not just for beautiful artstyle but also for its incredible writing, amazingly deep themes, perfect soundtrack (my favorite soundtrack oat, I still listen to it daily) and perfect world building. It really is so much more than just a detective rpg and I would not hesitate to say it has had a significant impact on my view of life.

I absolutely LOOOVE the We Were Here series! The first one is indeed free and was made in a few months by some students iirc. So it definitely isn't the best game of the bunch but it's a free way to try and see if it is something for you. (I'd highly recommend We Were Here: The Friendship Expeditions as your first game to see if you'd like to try the rest of the series afterwards). After the first every next game just keeps getting better and BETTER! The second game is the first time you actually see eachother here and there through the game, where the first you only meet up at the very end. The third game I feel dives more into the lore than the other games but definitely does not lack on its co-op puzzles! (Although there is one chapter that can be rather difficult since you have to describe oddly looking plants). The fourth game is somehow EVEN BETTER in all its aspects. The depth of the lore, the creativity of the puzzles, the sceneries you pass by as you go along the game and even the music is just breathtakingly well done! I've heard some news that they're working on another game, and I cannot wait to see the first glimpses of it in the future!
