Although obviously we're in the digital domain here it still has some analogue features. Compared with what I hear on Spotify. Not just the crackling.

Use to listen to this album on a Sunday afternoon with having family and friends over after playing a game of tennis and lunch. Brings back very good memories. 🔥👍🎵👌 It's laid back music. Steely Dan! 🎉

The sound of a needle hitting vinyl, a slight crackle and then the music starts. If you're over a certain age, you'll know what joy that holds.

I was 27 when this one first came out, Steely Dan were with me all throughout the 70's when the best musicians were putting together this great type of music, but Steely Dan were the creme de la creme of this type of music. There's been no one playing or writing on this level since. I've had all their stuff since their first album came out and I still have copies on both LP and CD and the LP versions blow away the CD versions. Gaucho, (the song and the whole album), is a timeless masterpiece.

I was turned on to Donald when I was 8-10. I was born in 1963. Was at Treasure Island at one of their very never concerts, taken to by my cousin Steve. My first cassette, still have it... KZbin sucks... listen to the words. Gaucho on now. No choice anymore. Have Vinyl, play the everything out of it. It plays forever... if taken care of! Bye, listening to, guess not who... just Steely!

This is my favorite orchestral work. Even better than Star Wars soundtrack. I usually only like Baroque-era works.

Ive heard Babylon sisters many many times. But never on vinyl,so many different tones and things id never heard before, especially at 5:40 on the outro,it sounds like the bass player fluffs a note. Probably not and by no means am I criticizing this song. It's one of my all time favourites. Just funny what you hear sometimes. Thanks for posting this ❤.

Since 1980 the middle class has shrunk . That why people are angry for change. Republican and Democrat. Both political parties. Knew about it. Those in power stayed in power . Now we have the fox guarding the hen house. Another series of permanent tax cuts for corporations is the trump plan...

This is so quintessential 2 the soul body & mind a journey on a sweet & smooth magic carpet ride thru a beautiful sky on that thing we call a swing right there in dat' jazzy & groovy POCKET!!! And the song "Peg" was released in 1977 from the album "Aja" & it was on side B track #1 & on the "Gaucho" album what is playing now is the 4th track on side B or the very first song. Bada Bing - Bada Boom!!!🥁

Isnt it amazing how people meet each other and create bands like this? Tell it was chance and ill tell you theres no such thing. Everything that happens is because it was meant to happen. Chance is a cheesy name for a baby and the parents didnt even know that "mistake" they made in the back of Buckys 67 Pontiac Tempest was actually gonna happen whether Bucky pulled out or not! Ha! Hows that for fate!
