Hey James back in 1993 when we had that bad blizzard . I think u stayed at the weather station because you was covering it seemed like multiple times a day. Got stranded at the station I think and I harvested my biggest buck ever to . I Been a big fan since I was a kid. Your the best meteorologist ever lived .

Where? “It’s way too early to be specific.” “We can start knocking out the details….” (Later) “ Signals are there.” “Won’t know more until after Friday.” Models disagree about what will fall, where and when. “Cold air is in place.” If you don’t have time to watch this whole video, to sum it up, they don’t know. ; )

Eh. If you look at the GFS the week before last week's snow, it looked pretty spot on to what we ended up with.

That is entirely incorrect. The models suggested >1" of snow for most of the week, but then the NWS decreased those forecasts...wrongly. The GFS and Euro were more accurate than the NWS, and while James tried to get in line with the NWS messaging, the models were still closer to right. All models are wrong because they cannot predict to 100% accuracy, but they can be helpful because they give you an idea of what will happen...and that is precisely what they did.

the euro on sunday called for a blizzard but GFS didn't .then changed back and now the GFS shows it so we won't rlly know till friday-saturday even then it's un certain.

@@Nunyah_BidnessI looked back on the 4th as not all past videos are available. The European model did show some wintry mix/snow a week out not just the GFS model. We are a week out now, and European models showing nothing this time. So, there’s that…. 😢. We, meaning my grandchildren want to see snow…we only got 1/2 inch and they got a dusting.
