DOOM 3 is technically a blacksheep in the DOOM franchise because of the horror aspect and much darker and creepier environment but the gameplay and lore of DOOM 3 still follow the mechanics of the original DOOM "kick demon's ass and close the portal of hell." it doesn't feel a DOOM game because DOOM supposed to be a fast-paced FPS Game But for me DOOM 3 was still one of the best horror survival FPS Game. it influenced a lot of horror shooter games like dead space, system shock remake and dead effect II (mobile)

Gunnar must be alive after Chapter 1-7x You get him in Chapter 1-7 after moving to a specific tile in the top-left portion of the map (and keeping Gunnar alive after recruiting him in 1-7 is what unlocks 1-7x)

I remember the arcade machine had cheat codes. Stage selection- steering wheel left, right, left. And when choosing car- go through the gears 1234.

What CPU Specs do you run (Processor / RAM / Video) because that is some insanely smooth footage for the enemies while recording and while streaming. My cpu would literally burst into flames I'm in the process of updating so I can tackle larger WADs on the channel. Outstanding run my friend looks like a fun wad.

Thanks so much! For CPU specs, I have a Ryzen 5 5600X with 32GB of RAM and my GPU is an RTX 2060 Super. Stardate was a lot of fun even though it constantly wanted to beat me up and take my lunch money. Definitely wasn't gonna enjoy this on UV lol

@@BaconElementalVT It's been a wild ride to follow. Great job my friend. Mine has been Liminal DooM 2. That series is one of the best WADs I've seen for creativity in a while. 1st level no enemies, platforming secret finding. You finally find the enemies in Map 2 as you would up in the middle of a mansion now surrounded by everything even custom enemies even the secrets are brutal as you run out of the house in maps 02 and 03. Map 04 back to no enemies and puzzle solving but if you forgot the clues you found youre dead. If your lucky enough to make it to map05 (starting today) you finally escape the house only to be greated with an entire flipping city of over 600 enemies waiting to waste you from every direction. No BFG go boom. It's there's not enough ammo what the crap run! Honest to goodness it's been an experience. The creator of your stardate did an amazing job with those graphics it didn't even feel like doom. Love it my friend

not sure, really - I think it was designed that way or it's an emulator quirk

I think it's an issue with the Model 2 emulator. It's great but it's not perfect, and sadly not been updated for many years.

In the original Dooms, I think that you couldn't recive an attack from an enemy that is behind you... If I remeber correctly

You can. I played this both in DOS and Doom95 back then - you can receive attacks from monsters behind you
