Beautiful tiny homes but I suggest maxing out the high insulation first though. I move from project to project so we were looking for low cost options. Trailers just do not have enough insulation for Canada. So we bought a 20 foot dual axil flatdeck trailer. Derusted it and painted it with new semi gloss black paint new lights, bearings, brakes, registration and plates. Then I bolted 2x6 floor frame on top of 1 1/2" foam filled with R29 rocwool followed by poly and 3/4" plywood floor. We build the 2x4 16" on centre walls sheeted with 1" zip sheets filled with R14 rocwool and interior poly. The exterior has Tyvex with securing vertical baton lathe. Our 5 windows are triple paned but it is the top of line $800 insulated steel door that is the cold weak point of the whole unit. So we made a heavy blanket curtain over it. Last night was -28C and we heat it to 20C to 22C with a 1,500 watt little electric heater powered by the grid. On sunny days our 6 150 watt panels rock and roll the heating and kettle for hot water. We are presenting into it for $26k and loving the cost savings contrasted to renting hard to find apartments, signing 1 year leases, dealing with utilities etc etc. Feels great to save again...but max out the insulation for your comfort and protection.

Much better than $165k for the one tiny home the lady was selling there. She hadn't lived in it either. Don't know the reason though.

me and my husband went, and I don't know what changed, but the admission fee was quite high, so I guess we couldn't afford make numerous visits to get to know the cats, and there were no chances of cats walking around as they were all in cages ..... It's great to be in a cafe where cats can roam freely, but we just sat, then looked at cats in cages and left. If wanting to get to know any cats to adopt, the humane society is going to be a visit option, and I don't need to buy a coffee to look at cages
@jetandcompass
@jetandcompass 21 күн бұрын
That's disappointing. I know they keep nervous cats in cages until they are used to.the environment. My youngest keeps asking to go back, so we'll have to do an update.

Hi! Not at all. It can be booked through 3rd party booking sites, directly through holiday inn (so you can accumulate points if you are part of their loyalty program) and it's also part of timeshare (yes they'll try to get you to buy in.) We just immediately tell them no and unplug the phone. Never had a problem!

The evening kick back food is horrible but the morning breakfast is much better. The restaurant by the pool is surprisingly really good. The mattresses are on the hard side and could not get good sleep after a very long drive. Very clean hotel throughout. Excellent housekeeping staff. The $25 parking fee per night is enough for me not to stay there again. You need your room key card to get in and out of the gated parking lot so the parking fee has nothing to do with non hotel guests parking there. Unless you really want to stay close to Disney Springs, your better off staying at Pop Century or Art of Animation.

I watch random things but hardly anything like this video, yet KZbin somehow knew I would like it. The only known thing we have in common is that I'm also in Ontario. Whatever you're using for the stability and movement of your camera is very satisfying for some reason. I'm a dude so this is a first but after watching your video I really had to comment about your husband. He seems like a real hero of a man. It was beautiful to see him treat you like a princess. DO THEY MAKE ANY HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE UNITS ?
@jetandcompass
@jetandcompass 2 ай бұрын
I think it may be easier to build something on a foundation for better accessibility. Ballance containers makes a nice one bedroom unit that is all one level, or even a barndominum. Once they are on wheels that really restricts their size and therefore their ability to accommodate mobility devices and such.
