I did quit a toxic job last year and started a KZbin channel. Though i have realized that growing a KZbin channel is hard.i have no regrets and giving up is not an option one day the channel will grow. So I agree 💯 with this video

I just want to add that in this society ruthlessness backbiting and cruelty seem to be okay in the workplace whereas it is not okay to be kind and generous in spirit. These qualities are seen as weak. I doubt there is any work place left that is toxic free. The whole of society is so dysfunctional.

I just watched this video. I wished I had seen this before because I left one toxic place after another, but always left too late. I would become very ill, go off sick then not go back because I could not face it. The last time it happened was in 2017. I try to stay for the security as there is big job shortage. After i went sick i remained sick. I am still very ill too ill to do housework go and do the things I would like to do. I am on medication with side effects and I am bedridden alot of the time. Kindness is very undervalued by society. I was this nice and kind person who got bullied and harassed over and over again. It is sound advice you saying self care of your mental health comes before money. I wish i realised this a long time ago. Now I am too mentally ill.

i remember working a job that, at the time i did not realize was toxic the pay was ass i even went to heights of saying i would work more days because of the pay so i could make more due to my financial struggles at the time, my advice to anybody is to never do that. always go and find a job that is suitable for you and that benefits you in the long run you will get so much farther mentally really. your mental and energy matter and sometimes that means walking away from a job even if you like it.

Glad this video found me. An incompetent man yelled at me in front of others. I reacted and stood up for myself and he recommended termination. Somehow, I found myself nervous about being fired , nervous about finances but as I look at my anxiety… no growth potential, I’m okay with whatever happens tomorrow

I have been listening to quit your job videos since 2 a.m. Yours is the most profound. Unfortunately I did not save in my younger years so still have to work. But that doesn’t mean I have to put up with toxic people at work. I don’t mind the work (law firm) but some of the people there are nasty. I am planning my exit strategy today. I am so glad I found you. Thank you.

I feel this. My current job I’ve been at for about 2 1/2 years. It is so toxic and my manager doesn’t do anything about it. I work at a clinic btw. Patients are constantly complaining, coworkers being petty, poor communication and if we don’t do something that someone doesn’t want us to do such as putting too many patients on the schedule even though there are openings, the nurse practitioner may get mad instead of communicating with us telling us they only want a certain amount checked in, sending messages to the providers and not getting a response from them even though they read the messages and then the patients call back mad and then then the nurses get mad if we call them and tell them a patient is on the phone since they’re in clinic and I need to SEND ANOTHER MESSAGE!! Another coworker of mine doesn’t want to ever do shit and she even vapes at work and no one does anything about it. Aldo another coworker came in drunk a couple weeks ago and didn’t even get fired. One of the nurse practitioners has been suspended a couple of times for her bad behavior and bullying but never fired. And another coworker of mine has called me a midget because I’m short(4’10) and when I got my hair cut last year I think, she and a few others told me “did you cut your hair yourself? You should have gotten layers.” Stuff like that and so I ended up going and getting layers and it made me hate my hair even more! I even like K-pop and K-dramas and my coworkers think that’s weird(except for 1 who is just as weird as I am 😁) These are just some of the things about my job that I can think of right now. I’ve been trying for almost a year to get a new job and have not been successful. I need to leave my job but I don’t want to until I find another job which just adds to the stress because I’m do scared to start something new when I could just stay at a job that is “comfortable”. My home life is so toxic and negative too. I don’t feel happy or emotionally safe anywhere!

It is!! I left the last workplace that had a very toxic female who was a long time employee and went out of her way to sabotage me. I left that job and moved out of state. My mental health is priceless. I started to dread going to work in the morning. I called in sick twice (migraines and dread). I couldn’t work properly because I was constantly criticized, talked down to, and watched.

I just officially quit my job yesterday. On Friday when my shift was over I decided that Im not returning. I sent an official resignation letter to the manager via email on Monday. The environment is turning toxic and unbearable because of a certain employee. Its so bad that no one really likes her at the workplace. Shes causing all types of drama and chaos but the managers haven't done anything about it because shes a narcissist and knows how to play that card smh. I got into a confrontation with her and had to put her in her place. Im so glad to be gone and Im much happier!!!!

I can recall actually praying the Our Father and Hail Mary prayers when I was getting close to work while in my car. This was years ago and I was much younger and right out of college. My supervisor was brutal and relentless. At some point, I said to myself, “Screw this. I’m not backing down. I’ll be here every day early and on-time. I’m going to remind my supervisor that I exist and bless him with my presence everyday. I’m going to be the one to initiate all conversations and work issues. In other words, I’ll approach him before he approaches me. I’m going to become an attack dog in my own mind.” After work, went straight to the free-weight room and lifted heavy weights building my quads, chest, and arms. And did I ever. That was 28 years ago and I’m still standing and still just as motivated. He’s long retired. I’m still in the same office. I won’t let anyone beat me. Not happening.

This video is absolutely amazing and refreshing to know that I’m not alone. I just started my new job 11 days ago and it has been the worse working environment that I’ve ever I worked in. I have a drug screen scheduled this coming Monday and once I get my official job offer from new my employer I’m definitely leaving this current employer. I’ve never questioned my capabilities until working with this company and it’s all because of my manager that I’m training with. I spoke to the manager above her multiple times and he’s obviously bias and not taking my complaints into considerations so it’s no point of staying. I told him to put me in in a different department and it’s been great. All the associates in that department are extremely respectful, helpful, and work as a team. Even though the new department has been great my first manager made a bad impression. So I’m leaving to a better company with better pay.

I'm from Canada. What is your advice? Same here being bullied, mobbed, gaslighting, harassed at the hospital for over 12 years. I've happened to be the top worker for 38 years and have never been suspended. These bullies are jealous and miserable people. Union, manager, HR and the police are all totally useless. Bullies are lazy bums and stupid managers are scared of the bullies. They say about me I'm crazy, I drink, I'm a stalker all bs defamation of character. The biggest mistake since they removed disciplinary measures. They should arrest the bullies and fire the manager. Action speaks louder than nasty words. It destroyed my reputation. I will never quit to make these lazy bums ever win. If I decide to transfer to another hospital and may start gaslighting, smearing and bullying me once again, I don't know all the new managers etc. like in every department like now. So best to not change hospitals. I will never let bullies try to control me from quitting. Just don't react and not try to defend yourself which will only go back and forth making me look even more guilty. Action always speaks louder than words. Just best ignore them and find another easier target. Never let these low life lazy bums win ever win.

I just quit my job at a chicken processing plant. The work was disgusting, grueling, hard and labor intensive. Me being who I am I worked harder than everybody else but all that happened was me getting taken advantage of because of my work ethic. All the hardest jobs I get to do while the lazy guys get off with the easy work. My body hurts and my mental health is taking a dive. I have support from my family but it sucks not having a job. I just couldn’t take another day.
