I’ve been a hardcore fan since 1967. ROBERTS is the worst manager I’ve ever seen. Any other manager would have 6 rings. He routinely miss handles the pitching moves. Never a fire 🔥 Never in a umps face. Just 9 years of embarrassing post season performance.. GO AWAY !!
@RotYourBrainMediaАй бұрын
If they do lose early again, there really does need to be a conversation. Maybe they find an analytical manager that also has a little edge to them.

I highly doubt Betts tone in his comment was accurately reported by Plunket. Betts has never known to be critical of teammates and Ohtani has never been known to be selfish. In fact, players from the Angels have always said that Ohtani is a great teammate and cares for the success of his teammates. Plunket is trying to get the clicks by taking things out of context.

Or maybe Shohei’s true colors as a me first superstar is coming out now that he will be held to a standard with other stars in the clubhouse?
@LAChannel-py5ll3 ай бұрын
Well, Ohtani has never said he wants to lead off.That is well documented. In fact for most of his career (US and Japan) he’s batted second because that is where he’s most comfortable, according to Japanese media. When you say one’s true colors, that only applies when someone is known to have shown that color in the past. Again, all the documentary on Ohtani shows otherwise. Humans don’t change all of a sudden. Again, my hunch is that Plunket is taking Mookie’s comment out of context

Totally get your point, I think this season is unique in the sense that he not only can be the 6th member of the 40/40 club, but he could be the first 50/50 player 🤯

In my opinion Dodgers spring training was a B- B at best, pitching is still sketchy, Muncy's still the worst 3b in baseball, Heyward is regressing, Taylor is still super streaky, Rojas is only a defensive player, horrible for a bench player, and Lux is gonna take rime ro get reacclimated to his knee which was reconstructed.
@RotYourBrainMedia7 ай бұрын
We are going to give spring training grades on our next episode. We will bring your comment here up - so stay tuned.
@Grizzmonster737 ай бұрын
As far as Yamamoto he is working on different grips to see if he can improve any of his pitches, just keep that in mund. Another little nugget for your brain is Lux is having the usual response to knee reconstruction surgery, he was definitely moving gingerly even with the throws keep an eye on his legs, until he feels confident in the stability of the knee he won't be able to play short, but don't write him off with yips or not capable.
@RotYourBrainMedia7 ай бұрын
Totally agree on Yamamoto - Spring training is for testing out stuff for pitchers, and there will be an adjustment period even in the regular season. No need to panic yet.

Someone should sign him Angels would be perfect!
@RotYourBrainMedia7 ай бұрын
There has to be something more holding teams back from signing him. With such a need for pitching among contending teams, I'm surprised no one's choosing to go down that path.
@kturetsky7 ай бұрын
@@RotYourBrainMedia the yanks could use him real bad maybe if Cole gives his blessing it can happen?!
@RotYourBrainMedia7 ай бұрын
Cole would never sign off on him. Cashman would have to do that on his own. The Yankees did have Aroldis Chapman & Domingo German on their roster but it’s so early I don’t think teams are desperate enough yet to go down the Bauer path.

Yeah there has to be something more beyond what fans know, because with so many teams needing pitching for various reasons not one team has even shown a little bit of interest in the guy.

Guys. The broadcast gave wrong information. I watched every Angels game for 6 years. Ohtani hit 3 of 5 oppo HRs in one game vs Rangers last year. Go watch KZbin for all his HR last year and year before. So may Oppo HRs. Broadcaster just saying whatever no facts. lol. No biggie but kind of funny
@RotYourBrainMedia8 ай бұрын
You’re 100% right. We checked his 2023 HR spray chart and he hit a bunch to left center. They need to be more accurate for sure. Maybe they could have said he hit 2 to left field but several to left center… Technically it’s spring training for the announcers as well lol

Thanks for watching, but just to set the record straight, Robbie is far from being racist. Throwing around such serious accusations without any evidence isn't okay.
