Have her heart check. My Dane start to develop the same kind of problem at around the same age. It was caused by some heart arrhythmia which cause low blood pressure which in turn cause a diminution in his ability in the retention of his bowel. He was able to keep it in but was more prone to accident. All it took is some heart pills that solved his problem until the end of his life.

As one Baltimore recording artist to another I am proud,The song sounds great. Another great songwriter from Baltimore. I spent some great times in Highlandtown when I was younger and played many gigs.Great going Jon.

True, the Domino Sugars sign is in Locust Point but it dominates the southern skyline from Highlandtown. I lived in Highlandtown/Canton most of my youth. That sign still comforts me somehow. Love this video - my parents were married at Sacred Heart Church and walked to Haussner's for their wedding breakfast in 1944. This video captures the place and culture - you have to have grown up here to enjoy this song and video but Petrelli gets it right. Thanks.

I get the whole reference to Baltimore as a whole since Highlandtown is part of Baltimore. Great song. It's great to see how you've progressed since recording the song that you sang to your wife on your wedding day in my basement studio. If you ever need a guitarist to back you up when you go on tour (and i'm sure you will) I'm your man. And if you don't need a guitarist I'll be your videographer again. Good luck to you dude.

I can totally hear this song on the soundtrack for a movie during a montage of scenes after a breakup - walking on the beach, looking out the window crying, being obviously sad while surrounded by a group of laughing friends at a restaurant, seeing other people, places, events that they used to do together, etc.

My interpretation is that this song is about the overall experience of being from Highlandtown, which also includes experiences and images of Baltimore as a whole. Being from Highlandtown encompasses experiences from Baltimore as a whole, which is why there are also references to the inner harbor, downtown, Canton, and yes, Locust Point as well. But the artist can probably speak better for himself. Let's hope we can get him to weigh in.
