There will never be another like Johnny Cash. Never knew they sang a song together. She was beautiful and still has a great voice.

I still can't believe the range of her voice. She could go from "Blue Bayou" to the female lead in "Pirates of Penzance," which is a hundred percent coloratura soprano role. Unbelievable range.

I have followed Linda Ronstadt's music since I was 19 years old here in Los Angeles and I am almost 78 (in October) and she is now 78 Today July 15. I know she no longer sings but her music will live on and on to come,

You know one of my favorite things about this performance? Watching him listen to her at certain parts. He was possibly more impressed than he thought he’d be. And he did such a good job at framing her up as if to display a flower. He wasn’t “show-boating” or anything even though it was his show. He was humble and showed her to be admired. AND LORD DID SHE SHOW UP FOR THAT BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE. The professionalism and mutual appreciation seemed so good, and such a VERY RARE opportunity for anyone to witness. THE OTHER ONE of my favorite things, is the perfection of how their vibratos matched and fell together. I mean, Hi, can you please exquisitely tell a story about a suicide yet make it sound adorably charming..?? Almost irresponsible how well they did that song! LOL!

It's like God brought them together and said go forth and sing. Their harmony is incomparable. You dont hear this now unless it's family harmony. But then they are brother and sister they say. Perfection.

I want to say so many things about this. I really do. I cannot find the words. I’ve never been a folk music fan, but this is SPECIAL. Like, A ROYAL, only once, MOMENT. If you understand why this is so good, you have had a tear in your eye listening to and watching this at some point. For the rest, I’m going to have to get back to you when I can find a way to explain it to you. I love the way she felt the need to face his face, not just because a true duet involves a connection, but because with listening while singing, your reverberation is measured by how it bounces off of what you are singing toward, and she did it to match his. Brilliant. And HELLO, it’s Johnny Cash and Linda Ronstadt! She was the most versatile vocalist I’ve ever witnessed.
