I would just sit on the street listening to them whenever they popped up. Truly perfect moments.

Ran into Bro and Sis by accident at a Chicago Blues Festival. We were walking by and I froze. The others wanted to leave and asked me what is the big deal. I said "these two are REALLY good". I stood by for the entire set, purchased a cassette (yes, boys and girls, back then we had cassettes), and was amazed by the authentic blues feeling and timing. Years later I heard of the tragic end.

At 75 I see I missed quite a bit. They took the Beatles Eleanor Rigby and Ticket to Ride into the rock opera genre.

I've been learning about Evie Sands who did this song, and another great song "I can't Let Go" which was covered by the Hollies and Linda Ronstadt. It's a great time to be able to so easily learn about this classic music.

I saw Ten Years After play at the Inglewood Forum in the early 1970's, their "A Space in Time" tour, and I'll never forget that one - Humble Pie opened, fronted by Steve Mariott, with Peter Frampton on lead guitar (he was incredible with the spotlight on him!). The bass playing is something I'll never forget, and this is guy nails it - not easy to play!!
