Love the content. Your in-vehicle narration has high levels of low frequency rumble, that is drowning out the dialogue. Infact, the dialogue is so smothered by the rumble, the automatic closed captions do not work. I am viewing on a home theater setup, inlcudes a good sub, and this system is fully calibrated. There is very little useful speech information below 300hz anyhow. I suggest you hard cut off your audio @ 150hz to kill that rumble - it is very intrusive, believe me.
@bushandbay
@bushandbay 23 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback and we totally agree. Unfortunately this is all we have from the in-vehicle footage and we were guttered when we first heard it 😔We still have 2 episodes left with this kind of audio but we are switching to DJI mics for the in-vehicle audio for future production. Sorry about that. Still learning heaps 😬

Another great episode team love your style. Can I ask we have been looking a spending some time down there but finding the permit process for filming and drones a nightmare. Any tips how to get it sorted so we don’t get fined?
@bushandbay
@bushandbay 24 күн бұрын
Thanks guys! Appreciate it 🙏🏼 As you can see we just don’t fly our drone in National Parks or when there’s a no drone sign. I believe there’s only a few states in Aus where you are actually allowed to fly drones in a National Park. In Tasmania you can’t unless you request a permit. Also, keep your distance from humans and wildlife. That’s our 5 cents but you read a million different things online. It’s confusing in Australia because rules are different in every state. Good luck!

Lovely work (and I envy the Patriot with hardshell tent -- really nice set-up!) I live in Tassie and enjoy my bushwalking and camping. Next time you find yourself on Bruny, try Cloudy Corner. Of all the lovely camping spots on Bruny, Cloudy is my favorite. It requires a short drive down the beach and this tends to filter out some of the hire car crowd and people with big vans. The Neck is nice, but busier. There's also a nice easy bushwalk from there to East Cloudy Head. Enjoy your time in Tassie. Be careful and, of course, leave no trace.

Thanks Barry! Appreciate it 🙏🏼 We were a bit disappointed with the colour grading 😅 I feel that it’s a bit too dark on a TV screen? Every TV shows the colours different. Did you notice anything? Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼
@barryricketts1
@barryricketts1 4 ай бұрын
Hi guys, I’m no expert and didn’t notice anything too dramatic with colour grading towards black. I watch your videos on my TV (75” screen with 8K resolution) and the colours seem fairly accurate to me. However, I do understand what you’re saying. Throughout your video’s entire 28 minutes there is footage where colours may look a bit less vibrant, perhaps even a bit washed out, but I really think this is largely due to: (1) lower light intensity (overcast cloudy conditions etc), and (2) a fair amount of sea spray or ocean mist in the coastal air in that location. I just assumed this to be the case, and these two elements may have caused some light diffusion. Where there are clear and distinct shadows in your footage (ie more sunshine, greater light intensity) the colours seem to be more saturated, bright and lively (much like your happy smiles and sparkling faces!) After a quick flick through your Intro I noted the following segments to try to illustrate what I mean (sorry for being so tedious…🥹💤): 4s - driving under GOR sign -> colours seem a bit more washed out; 11s - Yellow Road Sign “🦘🦘 NEXT 10 km” -> vibrant; 17s - arms raised walking through tree ferns -> vibrant; 23s - tree fern foliage under Redwoods -> vibrant; 28s - London Bridge -> vibrant; 30s-32s - epic drone footage of coastline (near 12 Apostles?) and surfing (at Lorne?) -> vibrant; 34s - driving through dead eucalypts -> vibrant. Loving your content! You guys are living the dream! Thank you 🙏

You’re also a wonderful couple with such a chilled and positive vibe - makes me feel good to see such happiness.
