The story writing in this expansion is by far the worst I've ever witnessed for aa wow expansion, at least when it comes to the level of potential it had of being extremely amazing yet Blizzard had a good thing going but decided to completely screw it over.

This old reveal shows how even back then just how disconnected from their playerbase Blizzard was.. Cinematic reveals should always be reserved for BlizzCons, Where the crowd actually understands and are thirsty for these types of cinematics and you get huge positive reaction from real fans, unlike gamescom, where the majority of people there are there for other games and can give two F's about old a** world of warcraft as shown by the lack of reaction

it was short, very few things to do, had more cut content then most other expansions and they asspulled the legion into the final raid which was supposed to have Grom as the final boss.

WOD was great for me, but activision wants 1 exp per year, like COD. So WOD was developed for just 1 year of content.

WoD wasnt that bad but it was just to short, only 2 patches and it ended. If they went at least to 6.4 with some good stuff it wouldnt have been so looked down on. It had the potential to be really awesome

they cut so much content that could have filled two more patches, and asspulled the legion for the final raid that could have been an epic showdown with Grommash Hellscream with his axe being a legendary drop. they had the shattrath raid planned and could have had an entire ogre tier on their little island to the southwest to help mix up things.

Oh shut up, we all know Cata was far worse. Although imo no wow expansion is "bad", just lacking in content. Cata had a nice atmosphere with the whole Goblin/Worgen, which they should have worked more on. Should have made Undermine and Gilneas two new cities but royally fucked up.

My feelings about this expansion are... "well, Blizzard actually made an "wait for it" expansion, they defientely wanted to make some more history to be said before legion happen again.
