Do you just go right over the old liner?

This made no sense to me. What if the pool needs to be completely above the ground? Our house is on a slope with a Mountain View. I have read fiberglass is still an option but I am unsure how that is accomplished? With gravel backfill in a retaining wall?

I happened to catch this video before replacing the skimmer with a Hayward, so i made sure to use all 8 screws. It's leaking from there 😓. In the process of lowering the pool level and inspecting it, but i have no idea what's wrong

How did you get out of the pool after putting it together?

Always scratch in the ground ring after final grade not before in case it is filled too much. The bonding is in case the pump GFI fails then everything is the same voltage so there is no difference of potential which causes a deadly electrical shock. Basically if the water is hot you want everything metal and the ground around you to be hot as well.

How do u get the manual?

Oh god I forgot those 4 screws too... but the water leak is coming down from the larger gasket (like in the video). I feel like those 4 missing screws would not affect the leak in that area... but Im likely wrong..

Man, I really needed that piece of equipment.. I spent hours using a cheap laser level that turns out it's not level, I rig it to kinda work, and my results are not what I want. It's off by the 2nd line on a bubble level, the pool isn't complete, so I feel I was just wasting my time, I'm talking weeks, and I gave in and going to take My chances on it settling..😮😮😮 this pool was blow over twice..started over each time, now I have wind reaching 20mph gust for days.

What do you typically use for a base ... stone dust, or mortar sand, and how much would be needed for a 24 foot round above ground pool ?

Your getting water all over the sand, if it were me I would suck the liner dry then take it out in one piece

Where you located bud?

I've installed hundreds of pools. I've been in the industry for years. Use a a frame ladder with a mat or foam mounted in the bottom that's in the pool. The wall is very easily dented and as you can see it almost dented in this video lol

Supposed to be 18-24” away from pool and only 2-4” deep with that bonding wire. Also need to be a licensed electrician to install it

We install all ours in poured concrete rings.

Why do you use the racks and not a sand loot and why do you use the racks to hold the wall up use ur tripod to hold the wall and you should really install upright with the bottom plates because you can use the uprights to hold up the wall and also no you shouldn t put liner in sun at all unless it was cold hen ur installing the liner on hot day it will give it some play but you don t want to much play I seen guys leave the liner in sun to long and got ruined

My contractor didn’t cover the wall bolts with the uprights sigh

If the pool is set into ground where the slope of the yard is toward to pool, what is best to fill the space where we had to dig in to make it level? Dirt, gravel, or ?? Does it need a drain pipe (like French drain?) to get rain water away from pool? (Mississippi clay dirt) Should we spray the metal that's going to be covered with Rustoleum or something to discourage rust? Thanks!!
