Those Brits are a strange old race. They show affection by abusing each other, will think nothing of casually stopping in the middle of a firefight for a 'brewup' and eat food that I wouldn't give to a dying dog. But fuck me, I would rather have one British squaddie on side than an entire battalion of Spetznaz! Why? Because the British are the only people in this world who when the chips are down and it seems like there is no hope left, instead of getting sentimental or hysterical, will strap on their pack, charge their rifle, light up a smoke, and calmly and wryly grin, 'Well, are we going then you wanker?

I couldn’t help but laugh at the bayonet part. Fucking hilarious it was! Watching the commanding officers scream at them while slowly using the bayonet was just amazing. Looks great fun!

Why the hell do the Brits round over, and dumb down the training for the public? I, ( Camillas boy friend) was an infantry soldier in the early 80's. The basic training was MUCH, MUCH, harder than this. This is bullshit. And what is not mentioned, is the weight and distance we carried our kit and equipment. We were second to none. Long Live 2nd Betallion Queens Regt.

Remember my grandad telling me about his phase one in the 60s and my uncle joined up in the 80s but fuck me this looks softer than what my family told me and I got it soft as well, the only thing wrong with training now is power hungry NCOs who think their hot shit only because they can fuck off from a sleep dep exercise and get a chippy

logan when did you do training/which regiment?
@stevenhenry78625 жыл бұрын
The first Regiment I joined was the Kings. These 1, was conducted at A.T.R. Glencourse, Edinburgh. Thase 2, was conducted at I.T.B. Strensil, York. Within 2, Months I.T.B. Strensil was attacked by P.I.R.A. Back then you felt under constant threat being a Soldier, even in Old Blitey. You couldn't wear your Uniform in Public.
