They show affection by abusing each other, will think nothing of casually stopping in the middle of a firefight for a 'brewup' and eat food that I wouldn't give to a dying dog. The basic training was MUCH, MUCH, harder than this. This is bullshit. And what is not mentioned, is the weight and distance we carried our kit and equipment. We were second to none. DONT BE MISLEAD I WAS BEASTED UP THE WALL THIS IS 10000% BOOTCAMP for example we was running and a cpl said to the boy not keeping up i dare you to stop i'll effing smash your face in, some recruits got bullied badly there was atleast 1 fight per night,those that did not pull there weight got the cold bath treatment where we all run in with respirators and grab the person and dump him in cold water,this is 32 weeks of hell.
