Hi! You can use either. I tend to encourage setting up a professional personal email and using it for everything outside of school because you never have to worry about losing access to it, but you can use whichever email you're more likely to check😉😀. Good luck!

Hi! It's pretty easy, although easiest is cuny to cuny or SUNY to SUNY. Start doing your research as early as possible. Check with the school’s transfer equivalency office to make sure that you won’t get set back too far if all your credits don't transfer or fit the right requirements in certain areas. Hi! The priority application deadline for the Fall is Jan 1st (supplements due by Feb 1st). The priority application deadline for the Spring is October 1st (all supplements due by November 1st). Hi! I'd say take the most challenging classes you can do well in that relate to the field you're interested in. See where you fit in their freshman admissions profile (www.usnews.com/best-colleges/howard-university-1448). The average GPA of accepted applicants for the class of 2025 was 3.66 (unweighted), so aim for that. They're test optional (except for joint degree programs), so that might be helpful. But if you do really well on the SAT, it could also give you an advantage. Keep up with their events, social media & visit in-person or virtually, so you can be sure that it's what you really want and to see what they offer that's in alignment with your personal passions & goals. Have quality extracurriculars and a compelling essay that enables them to see you fitting in on campus. Consider applying early as well. There's so much I could say, but they lay it out nicely here: admission.howard.edu/undergraduate/first-year Lastly, I'd say look into SCHOLARSHIPS at Howard and with other organizations. Tuition is about $33K/ year with room and board being about $16K. Good luck!!🌠

Great news: Nope! SUNY doesn't require SAT scores anymore. But just know SAT scores might still be required for certain specific programs, merit scholarships, and student-athletes at some SUNY campuses.

Hi Josh, Look in the Application Details section of the applySUNY portal and look under Supplemental Application. If you need a rec letter you can request that your teacher or counselor send one. They have to send it in though, you can't do it for them. Good luck🌠

I think they should be able to. Usually counselors upload documents online to SUNY through their counselor portal. If your counselor cannot, have them reach out and ask where they should send it. Email: [email protected]
