Amazing! Great athletes! And the King of Biathlon was more cunning than Poiree. On the photo-finish you can see that he lost to Poiree 's half of the body and head. So he jumped forward and almost sat down on a twine! Because of that he fell down after the finish! He fell down - but he won!

Not taking anything away from Petter Northug but in this video he face two of the weakest sprinters on the whole tour. I doubt he could do that to Vylegzhanin for instance. I've seen more impressive explosive sprints from Northug than this one. If we look only at pure speed i would have it something like this: Classic Double Poling - Kriukov Classic Diagonal Stride - Jönsson Freestyle - Pellegrino Distance sprinter, both techniques: Northug

***** And once again, i have never claimed that Vylegzhanin could beat Northug in a sprint to the finish. What i did say however was that in this video he is facing two of the weakest sprinters on the tour. Therefore the reason to the massive gap. And to claim, like what Jonas IDK did, that Northug was unbeatable at the freestyle sprints when he was younger is a completely false statement. So in that aspect i might come across as negative for the Norwegian fans but that is the truth.

What a dumb fuck you are. Taste, interest and what you like is individual. For most ski interested scandinavians this is just as entertaining as football, racing or any other sport for that matter. What do you like? I'm pretty sure i think what you like is just as boring as you think x-countyr skiing is.

I live in Sapporo and ski this course quite often for training, but I cannot believe Northug is the same human being as to be powering up the hill like that like a monster.
